Things to do in Great Ayton
We had passed by many times but decided to call in for an early evening meal. The Good - the menu is based on what is served in the adjoining Fish & Chip shop. The Bad - service was slow and the food was excessively greasy. The Ugly - the seats are uncomfortable, blue & pink flourescent lighting is a bit nausea inducing and the background music was not in the background but almost killed conversation. An interesting experience but I doubt we'll repeat it.

First time visit...was told about it by my partner....she loves the cheesy chips.....popped into Stokeley to get some bits and decided to get something there rather than cook.Very busy place and had to wait a while !!!.....but was it worth it !!!I had the 1/2 chicken Parmo with chips and salad for £5.50 and it beats all the restaurants that I have had it in before...cooked fresh to order it was more than enough. My partner had the cheesy chips which looked fabulous.Definitely a place to return to....

1950'S American Diner themed fish and chip shop and restaurant. Also serving Burgers, Hot Dogs, Ice Creams, Coffee and Cakes.
Central Stokesley with convenient free parking outside shop. This F&C cafe offers inside dining over two floors so there is plenty of space. (As well as normal takeaway). Itâs themed on an âAmerican Dinerâ style and everywhere is spotlessly clean. Our meals (4) were all tasty, fresh and enjoyable- Happy to recommend. Thankyou for the review - so pleased that you enjoyed your visit and your food. Hope to see you again very soon.

We have stopped to eat here a number of times now and the fish and chips are always fantastic You also get a good portion in that one portion of chips is usuall6 more than enough for both my wife and myself. The other good thing is that the food is prepared fresh as you order so has not been stood for lengths of time in the display cabinet. The staff were also very pleasant on each occasion weâve visited.

Whinstone View is a family-run business which opens seven days a week. When people visit Whinstone View they often comment on how beautiful the grounds are. We are surrounded by countryside, trees and greenery so if you're looking for a relaxing place to
Very nice experience at the Whinstone, staff and it's pretty location really making it a pleasant visit. We sat outside and the wasps weren't a bother as the joss sticks seemed to do the job. The menu is still a weak spot though with no defined style and in the evening, masses of choices which makes the food a bit on the average. However the overall experience, flexible hours and welcoming team make it a nice place to have a casual meal.Hi 95janea, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback about your visit. We are pleased to read that you had a positive experience overall and really appreciate your kind words about our staff and surroundings. We offer a varied choice of dishes using fresh, local ingredients with meals cooked to order. We offer a lot of customer favourites on the menu and also adapt the menus to suit the seasons. We're sorry to read that this wasn't quite suited to your taste. We hope to welcome you back.Kind regards,Whinstone View
