We had a nice walk along the cliffs from Seaford to Brighton. Stopped at the Stonehouse for lunch. Most staff were very friendly, the food was good. However, two members of staff were openly talking about immigration and how âyou canât even call it England anymore. Too many of them coming here.â Given the nature of our group, we were distinctly uncomfortable during our lunch. Hi K M,Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. We are disappointed to hear that you are not satisfied with your visit. With regards to the racist comment, a third of my team are from abroad and we have a solid team that has been together a long time so I can assure you if I catch anyone being racist they will be severely dealt with as I don't tolerate that.

Thought I would try their pizzas since i like a pizza closed and was impressed. The pizza was hot and had plenty of topping, was delivered quickly and price was comparable with previous place. Desserts sound interesting and a cut above some on offer elsewhere.

A lovely restaurant and delicatessen run by Davide and his team. His food has a homely and yet rustique quality, with explosions of flavour from Italy. There are no adaptations to local ideas of Italian cuisine, this is unapologetically Italian. Donât be fooled by the strange name of the cafe, you are guaranteed a wonderful meal.

I was taken to this lovely Italian restaurant twice although not large inside the tablesAre quite adequate and well appointed.Now the food, really, really authentic in flavour with all those lovely smooth ItalianSauces and flavours! I loved it both times.Service is great and the food whatever you choose will be fantastic.Lasagna large saucy helping and the chicken with wine sauce delicious!Donât pass this gem up!!

Our large group (4 adults 5 children) came here after a day spent walking around the nearby hill fort and beach. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent, the location was ok although the sun leaves the patio just before dinner.

You need to book. Lovely atmosphere very friendly, polite and kind staff. Good fresh food. Great selection and good specials board. Small cosy restaurant. Good value. Only criticism is that some of the portion sizes are on the small side compared to other Italians.
