Called in for breakfast and please we did. Both wife and I had the Pantry Breakfast, a full English plus, which came freshly cooked with local ingredients and it was excellent. Could of had a fair choose from the breakfast menu. Lunch menu commences midday and we will certainly return to try, although the Sunday Roast menu is on the list of must try. Friendly service, very clean interior and nice sun garden. Interesting shop and wine selection, glasses or bottles can be enjoyed with your breakfast or lunch. Set within a converted post office this charming cafe-come-restaurant is certainly worth a visit, or two.It was lovely to meet you yesterday and thank you for sharing you enjoyable experience with others. We look forward to welcoming Tg you back for a lunch very soon!

We visit this place regularly and I am amazed how this small restaurant keeps turning out such high quality dishes. Forget the chrome and carpet, this delightful place fits in so well in this most beautiful village.It is advisable to book to be sure of getting a table but if you haven't don't let that put you off trying, you might well be lucky.

As locals we often go to the George for food. Have been many times over the past few months at lunch and dinner times and every meal has been fantastic. We normally sit in the bar as we take the dogs but had motherâs day roast in the restaurant tonight which looks much fresher since it has been taken over. Lovely, relaxing atmosphere, great food, friendly staff and dogs welcome. What more could you ask for.Thank you so much Hvreynolds for your kind review.As a local village pub nothing makes us happier then the aproval and enjoyment that our guests and locals have with us.We are all very proud of what we do here at the George and to recieve such feedback is always great to hear.I hope you continue to visit us on hbope to see you in the future to try our new autum/winter menu in the coming monthsKind regardsRob Macrae

Living locally, we've only ever had coffee in El Cafe, but having looked at the menu invited our neighbours to join us for the Thursday Paella deal experience. What a lovely evening we had. The food was beautiful, hot and well presented, and the desserts a real treat. The staff were welcoming and attentive throughout, and our waitress was a very pleasant and friendly young lady. Thank you to everyone.
