Had a fabulous meal last night. Service, food, drink and atmosphere was amazing. We arrived early, and were warmly welcomed and seating straight away. Nothing was too much trouble. Our steaks were delicious! Staff are a credit to the restaurant. Will definitely be back

It started with two fellas, a chef & a team of creative students. Our dream was simple, to open a new pop up concept, serving proper pizzas and all things sweet. Our journey began with a backpack, a camera and a notepad. After 17 weeks, 5700 miles and 6 s
Out with my family and wanted to eat lunch somewhere which was new to us. Came across 'Happy Dough Lucky' down one of the smaller roads between Broadway and the Arena. It is in the Lacemarket building and so I was slightly unsure on the set up at first, but turns out it was a 'pop-up' restaurant which has kept going due to its popularity. It was a Saturday mid-day and it was quiet as they had just opened for lunchtime. Friendly welcome and good service. Nice to go somewhere with their own selection of pizzas and drinks, and appreciated the pizzas being explained and level of 'spiciness'. Waited for the pizza to be made from scratch. They tasted good and had good drinks. Certainly would go again if in that area. Can imagine it'll be busy in the evening. One to watch.

I donât understand all the love for this place at all. We were sat on bench seating so uncomfortable and wobbly that we skipped dessert, and received awful service. The water glasses and bread, requested on arrival, eventually appeared as we finished the main course and after asking 3-4 times. Two of our main courses arrived as two of our party were finishing theirs. Our bill added a couple of pounds to every main course (although they did admit their mistake and remove this on request). The food was inexpensive and the portions were generous, but really nothing special in terms of taste and presentation. The restaurant was absolutely full to the brim, which might explain some of this, but my experience was poor.

Really good Italian food. Served with charm and panache. Very reasonably priced. House wine very drinkable too. Will become a regular for us.
