Things to do in Stirling
This is a little gem in Stirling! It's dog friendly and has a great atmosphere. The staff are super welcoming and always provide exceptional service. The menu has a great choice and the food is always tasty. I enjoy the occasional hot chocolate - the ugly mugs is phenomenal. Great location for individuals eating on their own, friends, couples and families. Highly recommend this place!

I have been to Friars Wynd now 5 times and every time I am in Stirling I find myself coming back. It is a small and cozy place with fantastic ambience. The staff is very friendly and they always go out of their way for you.I am a huge coffee lover and their cappuccinos are really amazing! Food as well. I have been here for breakfast, lunch as well as dinner and cakes and their food was always 5*. They are really close to the center as well as the train station. I was not as impressed with the other cafes alongside the main road towards the castle so we actually had breakfast here and then we came back to have lunch. Apart from fantastic wine selection they also do a killer White Russian!

We visited on Sunday at lunchtime and the cafe was very busy so we sat outside. With a wheelchair and two small dogs it was also an easier option, although the cafe is dog friendly. My husband had an open chicken sandwich topped with bacon which he enjoyed. Dad had the soup, which he described as âwateryâ. It certainly looked that way and for £5.50, something more substantial was expected. I was looking for a vegetarian sandwich and asked for cheese. What arrived was two doorsteps of bread with some grated cheese, carrot and lettuce in between. No side salad, crisps or the usual trimmings you might expect. I was very disappointed, but when I looked at the receipt on arriving home to check the cost of the boring cheese sandwich, I was actually quite disgusted to discover it had cost me £7.90. And for £3.20, my husbands coffee was cold. I started by saying the cafe was busy, but thatâs no excuse for overpriced, underwhelming fare.

Have been in here lots of times since moving to the area. Great coffee and food- lots of vegetarian and vegan options â¤ï¸. Cinnamon swirl, sweet potato kale hash and mojitos are a few favourites. Lovely staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I had lunch here recently with my wife and some friends. It was my first visit and the restaurant was pleasant enough and the service was good. The issue was that I ordered the wrong thing from the menu and as a result didn't particularly enjoy it. This was partly due to there not being anything on the menu that I wanted to order as I felt the options on offer were a bit "fussy". Everyone else seemed to enjoy what they had. If I went back again and ordered something else I might have a more enjoyable experience.Hi. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the dish you chose. We do try to accommodate all tastes as well as offer something a bit different from the norm. Hopefully we have something else that you can try if you pop in a again.

Award Winning Neapolitan Pizzeria in the Heart of Stirling. People say: "I have been here many times and I am always welcomed with warm smiles and great hospitality. The pizza is wonderful, fresh and delicious. I could say more but I would never stop writ
We had pizzas there as a family. The pizza was soggy as the tomato sauce was too watery. They were not bad but not amazing. The service felt a bit unfriendly as if they would have preferred us not to be there. The restaurant feels more like a small takeaway with a few tables. No alcohol is served. No ice is available for drinks.
