Thank you, IJazz, for an excellent dining experience. Unfortunately I was away from home alone and so I wanted to dine somewhere I could feel comfortable. I was given a great welcome, seated in a good location (not hidden away in a corner, which would have made me uncomfortable). Straight away I was offered a drink and I met several different members of the waiting staff and they were all very friendly. The tables were all dressed really smartly ready for the evening and, even though I was dining midweek (about 6:30pm on Tuesday) the restaurant was nearly 50% full by 7:30pm. Iâm not sure how many covers the restaurant can take, though it seemed large. I think if you want to visit on the weekend, as a larger group or after 8pm weekdays, I would really encourage advanced booking to avoid disappointment.I was served with spicy poppadoms and pickles, a spicy pangash (fish fillet) starter and a speciality Welsh Lamb Bahar main course, which I asked for with a Madras flavoured sauce - the sauce is normally billed on the menu as Bhuna, but my own personal preference is for a little more heat.Highlights - poppadoms are normally served as a flat disc, not here. Very original presentation. Pangash fish is a catfish native to the Indian subcontinent and a favourite with Bangladeshiâs and Pakistan. It was very light and delicate, served with a choice of three complimentary sauces. One of their signature dishes is the Welsh Lamb Bahar. I saw some other reviewers who also enjoyed this dish and I can strongly recommend it, it wonât disappoint you. The Lamb was so delicious and tender, and the sauce flavoursome. I had it with a Peshawari Nan, but I donât know if it might have been even better with just plain bread like chapati or roti so as not to add too many other flavours. I think I would ask their advise on this if I were dining there again.Drinks - I accompanied my meal with Kingfisher beer which was perfectly fine for me. After my meal the Manager / Owner offered me a complimentary digestive drink, which I thought was a very nice gesture. My meal was under £35 inclusive of everything which I considered very reasonable. If you are resident, local to Wrexham or just passing through, I would strongly recommend this place.

A last minute booking to cater for unexpected guests brought us back to this restaurant. Service as always was excellent as well as the food. One of the party doesn't eat Indian food and the selection of English dishes was limited but sufficient - after all this is an Indian Restaurant.

Blue Water Restaurant and Takeaway, on Brownlow Street (opposite the free car park). Dine in a contemporary setting in our 52 seater air-conditioned, fully licensed Tandoori and Balti restaurant. With an extensive menu (including vegetarian curry options),
We haven't eaten here for several years, the last time being when it was called Eastern Spice. The staff were very helpful with the menu, as most Indian restaurant menus are suitable for coeliacs, but my wife had a bad experience in Crewe, when an Indian restaurant waiter told her that most of their meals contained wheat or gluten. We enjoyed our meals, and it was nice not to be rushed, even though we had not reserved a table. To sum up, good food and excellent service.
