The Lobster Pot Nottingham is the original Lobster Pot opened in 2001. It is a family run business combining Thai cooking with Seafood classics.
The restaurant is very modest and calm, both the waiter and the front of the house were pleasant, friendly and most importantly honest with ( fresh fish or not, frozen or not}.we liked the scallops, mixed rice, oysters, mussels and the fish of the day.

After reading some indifferent reviews a couple of years ago we always dismissed this restaurant, however wanting a place to go to eat last Saturday I checked trip advisor and found Arunothai in the top 20 restaurants in Nottingham, so glad we did, as Arunothai is a 5 minute walk away, we had booked for 7.30 pm and as we arrived a further 4 groups arrived in my mind I was expecting delays and slow service, this was not the case service was quick and very personal, one of our party has an allergy to bell peppers, we told our waiter and he made sure none were served The food was good and the service was not intrusive. I would have given this review an excellent but I chose lamb shank the sauce was good but the lamb didnât absorb much leaving it a bit bland Next time we go I will chose something else and I am sure it will get an excellent review Hi 648johnm,Thank you for sharing your experience! Glad to hear that you enjoyed your time with us.Hope to see you again soon Regards.

Zaap Thai Street food brings a fabulously authentic Thai street food market experience to the streets of Nottingham. With it's amazing decor, neon lights, Thai artwork and site dressing, it's the closest experience of Bangkok you'll ever have, without act
i went on a date to this resturant, and the girl i was one a date with was vegetarian, so we ordered the veggie platter to start and they brought us the meat platter, we wasnt aware until the girl i was with had already eaten the chicken and i had eaten prok which i do not eat! when i told the staff they tried to blame me and said that i had order the wrong thing! then they question why i had order a vegtatrian platter to start when my main course had chicken in it! I will order what i want, i was overall really disappointed with this and the staff were not friendly at all after i complained about them bringing the wrong food to us and they still charged us for it!Hi gantXG,Thank you for the feedback. Experience the culinary of the South East Asia, the menu offers Japanese (includes sushi), Korean, Malaysian, Thai and Singapore. We are sorry to say that our BBQ is temporally unavailable and should be resolved very soon. Pan Asia is also Halal certified
Menu was extensive and kind of busy, which was good in a way as it provides a huge variety of choices. There were dishes other than Japanese - for example, I spotted Singaporean, Malaysian, Thai and Korean dishes which of course fits the name of the restaurant Pan-Asia. However, one cannot help but suspect if all the dishes ordered can be guaranteed fresh as the restaurant has too many items on the menu to handle! Ordered some noodle soup which had a great-tasting broth which was really sweet, it is nice at first but you can easily become sick of it once after drinking it for a while. Dad ordered a bowl of rice with Chicken Teriyaki which was a typical run-of-the mill dish. Chicken and sauce was alright but it left us wondering what was the hype surrounding this restaurant as it didn't seem to offer anything other than average food. I wouldn't say this restaurant stands out particularly in any way, food is acceptable but nothing special. If you are here as a tourist to experience the best of Nottingham, I would say there are better restaurants in the city that are worth a try compared to Pan-Asia. However, the service was pleasant and the student waiters employed were friendly and most willing to answer queries about the menu.
