I first came to Wags when it first opened and left it a 5* review then but it’s just gone from good to better. The food is fabulous - such a yummy range of veggie and vegan. The vibe is always buzzing - it’s pet friendly, baby friendly, sports friendly - basically successfully covers all bases from brunch until night time. Usually come on weekends but my Wednesdays would not be complete without my standard hot/cold chocolate made by the lovely Edward & Dario. Wags definitely deserves the multiple awards it has won!

Langleys

Langleys has perfected the formula for a successful restaurant: nice decor, very good service, happy-looking staff, fair prices and a short-ish menu where every dish has been carefully thought out and well cooked. We had the antipasto, which was very high quality and substantial; the sea bream (ditto) and the seafood linguine (my husband said the sauce was overpowering and didn't like the sundried tomatoes, but I disagreed). All the food we saw going past looked delicious and we heard happy comments from other diners. It's nice to have this style of restaurant in the local area.

This is a newish venture which certainly deserves to succeed: charming service, impressive food (lamb, pork, padron peppers, croquetas, octopus all really good in tapas form), good wine list, very reasonably priced. We had a very enjoyable dinner and we would definitely return. A fine addition to the local dining scene.

Visited on rainy Saturday afternoon. Had some lovely dishes, tasty and good portions. Pau Bhaji, Kema Naan, Chicken Wings, Chilli Mogo and Samosa Chaat. The mogo was overcooked, the marinade was lovely though. Service was not bad, we didn’t get asked for top up drinks or water. Could be improved on. The restaurant felt cold, could have done with heating cranked up as the place was only a third full. Would have given it 4/5 but the mogo (pretty easy to get right, service and cold restaurant were my reasons for 3). We’d visit again so it can’t be all bad.
