This is at least our second visit to this wonderful little cafe. Luckily on each occasion we have managed to get a table although you can get food to take away and eat on the beach. The service is always friendly and efficient and the food first class. My crab burger was brilliant and the chips first rate. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Top notch example of a typically quirky British cafe.

Where to start. Food cooked fresh and well. But one problem...no flavour. Chicken chow mien, noodles and chicken boiled and not then stir fried in any flavouring. Chicken balls nice boy sauce bland. Crispy beef done well but bland sauce. Special fried rice with no flavouring. Spring rolls with lovely outside but just a slice of boiled chicken with a slice of carrot inside. Mussels in blac bean sauce.....SUPERB, oodles of flavour, perfectly cooked, lots of them and cheap! If you Ike bland food, you will love this place.

The fish and chips from here are the best ever. Always freshly cooked hot and perfect. Not like the chip shops which have too much batter and air, the batter from here is just right and always good to eat. Well done.

I was looking forward to a Saturday evening treat, how wrong I wasWe had prawn crackers very dry and brown very much over cooked, chicken curry was a greenish brown bland mud mostly filled with very large pieces of onion and certainly no spice, the special chef selection of sweet and sour morsels were very overcooked brown lumps of indetermined meat in doughnuts, the special fried rice was very good.So all in all disgusting certainly won't go back again
