Amy, Joe and Lewis work hard to deliver memorable dining experiences whilst always ensuring their menu ideas are fresh and innovative to keep everyone's tastebuds tingling!
Dropped in with a pal for breakfast, we both decided in the Chick-Flick: consisting of Spicy tomato chickpea chimichurri with Spanish chorizo, poached eggs and toast. With a skinny latte. The coffee firstly is amazing; great bean, full of flavour, well made and at the correct temperature. The breakfast was amazing. Eggs poached to perfection, the chickpea base stunningly flavourful and the sourdough toast amazing. Service was superb and they didnât put a foot wrong. Well ok, one minor gripe, the waitress when asked about the chimmichurri described it as an Asian spice! In fact it turned out to be mayonnaise with some herbs and not chimmichurri at at all. But that aside it was an amazing breakfast and I will be back, as Iâm eager to try the Breakfast Burrito that I saw served and looked amazing. Well done team, keep it up!!

We live locally and thought we would try. Best to book as busy littlr restaurant. Our review as follows:Style 10/10Charm 10/10Atmosphere 10/10Service 10/10Food 6/10Value 6/10I was really looking forward to some authentic Italian cuisine. It was tasty but the flavours did not overwhelm me. We thought £13 for a vegetarian sharing platter was expensive for what was pickles, olives and salad. My veg lasagne was a small portion and came with nothing else. My partner's bowl of pasta was also on the small side.We probably would try the pizzas and return but wouldn't rush back. Lovely atmosphere though.

Set majestically on the bubbling upper reaches of the River Teign, Gidleigh Park enjoys an exquisite location on the very edge of Dartmoor National Park. At the heart of the hotel, the elegant and intimate award-winning restaurant provides a sophisticated
I love visiting Gidleigh Park, the setting is stunning, the food is delicious and all the members of staff are so warm, friendly and helpful. I believe that Mr and Mrs Brownsword are such brilliant people to have created such amazing hotels and the people that work with and for them are the best. I do not eat meat or poultry but love seafood, this is never a problem with set menus as I am always offered an excellent alternative. If you want an excellent meal in exceptional surroundings then the perfect place to go is Gidleigh Park.

We booked the hotel just so we could have a night away and use the AAA restaurant, what an obscene waste of money it turned out for us Beautiful rooms , beautiful settting , I have found the staff attentive and welcoming - love the hotelBut the food - for a £400 dinner , where they do include the service charge , which I crossed out and removed , as itâs my choice to pay , not to be pre billed Was not worth the money Three of the dishes on the tasting menu we didnât eat Venison dish tasted strongly burnt in the sauce and the onions , so left itBlue cheese dish to strong, so pushed that AwayDeclined to accept the last dish I am a foodie and I eat everything , so for me to push it away says a lot The wine pairing I left four of the wines As upon our first dish , the waiter poured two large glasses of red with it - then I was done and unable to drink the other glasses - I was not there to get absolutely drunk !Iâve eaten at a few fine dining places and we do seek them out , but feel terribly that I wasted my money that could have been spent elsewhere in my life I enjoy spending on food but only when itâs worth it Its left such a sour taste with me I am probabaly never going to return to his hotel because of that dinner Such a shame

Popped in for a drink whilst shopping in Ashburton as it looks so attractive. The interior is quite small and simply furnished but light, bright and relaxed; the two women behind the bar were friendly; there was a reasonably good choice of wines by the glass and they also sold non-alcoholic drinks (for my driver!). The day was lovely so we walked through to the courtyard garden behind, again small but pretty, old stone and haphazard plants, and found a seat. The atmosphere is low key and laid back, the wine good, the garden quite a sun trap; we did not eat but noticed others' meals and they looked very good. A delightful pit stop which we shall certainly repeat, hopefully for lunch next time.
