We ate here twice in less than 24 hours as no where else to eat. Itâs clearly the place that all he local youth hang out and is very loud with a small dining room at the back.. Our first eats were a hit. Both vegetarian. The next day I had a vegetarian burger that was absolutely tasteless. Didnât stay here so canât comment on the rooms.

Popped in for a quick bite on our way to the north east. Had a pot of tea and shared a club sandwich which was very tasty. Pleased we shared as it came with chips and salad. Staff friendly and price very good.

Lovely boozer in a nice village, free WiFi & decent beers on tap, naturally a few flowed! Friendly staff too, didnât have food so canât comment, only gripe would be when going to toilet there were no sinks to wash hands afterwards, other than that a good place to drink!

This inn overlooks the South Tyne river and its beautiful fells. Situated "off the beaten track" it well rewards those who travel to find it. It is also a very good lunch spot for those who ride the narrow gauge railway from Alston. The Kirkstyle Inn has
We had a couples evening meal at the Kirkstyle Inn. We were warmly welcomed, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Food was great, catering for gluten free requirements in our party and the local beer hit the right spot. Presentation of meals was good, portions were large, and well-cooked steaks were accompanied by delicious sauces. We timed our visit to coincide with the monthly fun quiz night, so got entertained as well.

Stayed here in July whilst doing the Coast2Coast cycling route. Rooms were great, bikes could be locked up safely in a room round the back and the hospitality was superb. Food was class, good set of beers, locals were good chat whilst watching the World Cup and they even did some laundry for us. Food is all home made (cheese cake is outstanding) and overall very good value for money with breakfast included. Hi, so glad you enjoyed your stay with us, and thank you for all the positive feedback. Hope the next leg of the C2C wasnât too difficult! We thoroughly enjoyed your rendition of âitâs coming homeâ on the piano at breakfast.
