My wife, her cousin and I stopped in for lunch on Sunday, and despite not having any reservation, were shown immediately to a table. We were very impressed by the décor, lovely atmosphere and super-efficient friendly staff. The lunches were perfectly prepared and served within a very short time of placing our orders.Excellent service by Priscilla and we can highly recommend a visit to Miller & Carter at Hockley Heath.Hello! The Falcon has been on our list of âgo toâ places for Sunday lunch for some years, so we went there today expecting the food to be as good as we have experienced many times before, sadly it was not. I had roast lamb which was chewy, my husband had the belly pork which was fatty and soft, no crackling, the roast potatoes were chewy, not a bit crispy, cooked hours before and kept warm I suspect and the Yorkshire pudding was flat and soggy. The whole meal was just warm. We wonât be going again, shame. The service was fairly good though.Dear SRSLWe were disappointed to have read ypour recent review. Having visited a number of times before, you willl know how much price and effort we put into creating great menus, food and delivering a good level of service.I have spoken to the manager who was on duty who said that you visited between 6:00 and 6:30pm. We know the manager on duty spoke to you on a couple of occasions during the night. Rachel who concluded the service was made aware of your displeasure as you were paying your bill and the manager tried to catch you but you were already in your car.I am sorry that you were not pleased on this occassion, especially after visiting so often. We would have preferred to have dealt with the matter last night but do call us to discuss further should you wish and for us to be given the opportunity to make this right.Kind regardsJason

We ate here for my husbands birthday. The welcome was warm and friendly and the table we were given was perfect. The wines on offer were very good. I had a couple of seafood dishes which were gorgeous, the prawns are the largest iâve ever had. The only disappointing element was my husbands lasagna was dry, he didnât really enjoy it. But everything else was very nice.

Beefeater used to get away with serving poor food when it was priced at £8, now theyâre charging £14 for main courses that combine poor produce with barely basic cooking skills, why do people still go, when they can venture into the world of owner occupied restaurants where people care about the food they serve!??
