Very nice property, beautiful gardens. We booked for Afternoon Tea which was very disappointing, both in size & quality. Bread didnât taste fresh & crust was left on some sandwiches. Not a heinous crime, but really, in such places, youâd expect more attention to detail. Cakes were unthrilling. It was all just very very average. £26.95 per person. Cappuccinos & the like are charged as extra. Service was very pleasant & food delivery quick. It was very quiet so had little ambience. Unimpressed. We thank this reviewer for their kind comments relating to the property, gardens and service, and are really sorry if there were any short comings with the food served. We would have welcomed the opportunity to put matters right at the time of the visit, if we had known all was not to the reviewers satisfaction. All of the elements that comprise traditional Welsh afternoon priced at £26.00 per person are either made daily in our kitchen, or delivered freshly baked each morning. We believe that the atmosphere of this Grade I listed National Trust mansion has its own agreeable resonances, and are sorry if the reviewer did not like the ambience of this historic house. It is always our intention that a visit to Bodysgallen Hall & Spa is one that will be remembered for the right reasons, and I do hope this reviewer will return.

A wonderful evening from start to finish. Very welcoming and helpful staff, great attention & consideration given to special dietary requirements of a family member. Menu offer is excellent with lots of fish choices and the desserts are exquisite. Highly recommend and we shall return.

Dined here on 3 nights during our stay at the Imperial Hotel. The food quality was very good although a more extensive menu would be welcome. Service was excellent with friendly and attentative staff. The 10oz Sirloin steak is highly recommended cooked as ordered (medium rare) and extremely tender and tasty and the Chicken & Parma Ham terrine was an excellent choice as a starter. Lovely meals on all 3 nights and looking forward to returning again soon.Thank you Tony for your kind review and we are delighted you enjoyed dining in Chantrey's Restaurant for the three nights of your stay, and appreciate your comments about the food quality being very good and that the service was excellent. We're particularly pleased that you are looking forward to returning and we hope we will have the pleasure of seeing you again soon.

We visited the Lilly for lunch on Bank holiday Monday and were very disapointed it took one hour for our lunch to arrive. The waiter was very apologetic and said they had been very busy but we were the only ones eating outside, The food was very good when it arrived and was piping hot and we all enjoyed it.
