When this place first opened, you got generous sized portions in your âtake-alwaysâ. My particular favourite was the mixed kebab, a skewer each of chicken, lamb and minced kebab, plus rice, bread and salad garnish.I went there last evening and ordered same. When I got home was very disappointed. The meal was bulked up with cheap salad ingredients like raw onion and grated carrots, the portion of rice was small, their chargrilled kebab veg limited to onions and only 5 pieces of chicken, 4 cubes of lamb but minced kebab normal size. The flat bread was cardboard like shop bought pitta. This meal was not up to standard or as generous in portions as it used to be.The place seems to be going the way of Indian takeaways who reduce/cheapen contents to make money. They need to restore standards and yes increase prices if thatâs the consequence. Will be sometime before I go again

This Turkish restaurant is great, it has a nice atmosphere and a really good smell of fresh food cooking as you walk in. The food we ordered was really good, it was just let down a bit by the poor wine choice and waitress.
Where to eat British food in Rothley: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Been here often the kebabs and burgers are best, the pizza is expensive for what is it. Mountsorrel fisheries provide a better pizza and much cheaper. Burgers are nice with fresh salad. The chicken wings with peri peri sauce are good but perhaps covered in too much sauce which can make this messy, ask for napkins if you order this. The kebab is good but i like my chilli sauce garlic mayo lemon juice sloshed on my kebab not the small containers containing the sauces mentioned. Staff are polite and the place is tidy. Prices are reasonable.
