I visited this restaurant mainly because I had a discount voucher but despite using this I thought it was expensive for what was on offer. My classic Caesar salad was rather disappointing as it lacked anchovies ( I only checked the correct details later). My friends both had risottos which I thought were expensive as was a glass of wine. On the plus side the service was fine and the young male waiter was happy to split the ice cream and coffee dessert between two of us. Thus saying I will not be in a hurry to visit a Prezzo again sadly.

Combining everything you'd expect from a traditional English country pub, but with the added bonus of a superb range of in-house pizzas, pastas and salads, you will be assured of a warm welcome in this recently re-opened 16th century thatched building. A
I've now visited The Half Moon twice in the space of two weeks. This is a great little thatched pub, in a peaceful location and serving the most fresh and delicious pizzas. I like my pizzas and I've got to say these were some of the best I've tasted and they have lots of flavours to choose from! The two ladies who run The Half Moon are extremely welcoming and friendly and they really make you feel at home. There's also a large garden with undercover ping pong table and plenty of lawn for kids to run around safely. For those not into pizza there is an extensive menu with pastas, salads and a wide selection of starters as well as desserts. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
