First time visit today - ordered 3 small fish and one large fish, which were very tasty, with excellent batter. Decided to order 4 small chips to go with it - chips were excellent but the portions were massssssive, so next time weâll only two portions which would have been plenty for us (2 adults and a 17 year old and 12 year old, both of whom have good appetites).On holiday, and if we go back weâll order less but the quality was excellent.

I have enjoyed Tuckers a number of times before and I have always been impressed with takeaway fish and chips - good service, too. However, despite it being quiet this time, the food was disappointing. The chips were over-cooked and probably heated up - almost definitely not freshly-cooked. The fish, although cooked to order, had batter that had been in the fryer too long and was greasy. Actually, it reminded me of a freezer fish portion. I had to wait quite a while and assumed this meant it would be delicious but not so, unfortunately.Not impressed - hopefully this was a one-off as Iâd like to return in the future.

Food served in very good time and very hot, the staff were very friendly and polite staff. We rang before collecting food and it was ready on time. Large choice of food on the menu. Would recommend to others.
