We live quite local so visit occasionally and have regular takeaways (collection only, no delivery)However, this weekend we had family visiting from the States who rarely have Indian food so we took them to the Tamarind restaurant. We promised them a fantastic meal, and they didn't disappoint! Absolutely amazing food, first class friendly service and lovely atmosphere!Our family really enjoyed it!! Thank you!!

Holidaying in the area we decided to look for an Indian take away for tea.How lucky we were to find this place within a mile of where we were staying.Delivered to our campsite 15 minutes before the allotted time. Very pleasant gentleman keen for us to enjoy the food.We needed the food to be gluten free and they took this really seriously. Not everyone does but these guys were spot on.The food was delicious. I can't speak highly enough of it. In summary, great food, brilliant service and attention to detail. Prompt delivery.It couldn't have been better. Decided to book a table after reading reviews. Greeted by extremely friendly staff, very attentive . There were a lot of people coming in shaking hands with staff so clearly regular diners . The food was delicious . I also had a glass of the French merlot which I recommend. We now have a new favourite Indian restaurant that we will definitely return to .
