Liked the sound of this so we reserved a table for our anniversary - we weren't disappointed. Food was excellent and the staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. Can really recommend the lobster paella - it was really good and came with loads of shellfish.Booking is a must and Facebook seems easiestNice atmosphere too, will definitely go back to Anglesey just to dine here again

The Oyster Catcher is the ultimate beach side venue. With a distinctive character, vibrant atmosphere and fantastic food, it's an iconic Anglesey landmark. Now serving Breakfast Baps from the Cafe Bar.
Had a limited menu on offer when we popped in for lunch but the food we had was lovely. Had the Steak & Ale pudding & Tandoori Sea Bream. Both very nice (although chips/fries were a little disappointing) & good size portions. Views were lovely too.

Visited Sandyâs tonight, first time since the change of ownership. Regular diners when on hols so we were a bit worried as to if it would still be as good. Pleasantly surprised! Food excellent, huge portions (unlike across the road at the pretentious establishment) and lovely food. Lamb tender, seafood linguine beautiful and the sauce on the moules starter beautiful. Keep up the good work. We were made to feel very welcome and looked after very well. See you again soon xx

After driving around Holyhead for somewhere to eat breakfast, we stumbled across The Beach Hut. The food was absolutely delicious; my husband and I both had a full English/Welsh and our children had egg on toast and a mini breakfast. The owner Jason was so accommodating and looked after us all so well.Huge coffees... which were much needed and appreciated!! Service from all staff was superb and such a happy and chilled out place to be. We will be back, not only for breakfast but for a stay over in the Beach hut B & B before we head over to Ireland. Thank you for our lovely additions to our new kitchen! The Maudsleys Heidi, Andrew, Harry and Orlah Xx

Fabulous little place with lovely views. We had the delicious, freshly cooked, light bite cod and chips, which was just a big enough portion for lunchtime. The food coming out of the kitchen to other tables looked pretty impressive too. Will definitely return if we are in the area again.

Wow, just had an excellent Sunday lunch here.Beautifully tender lamb and beef and plenty of hot fresh vegetables. The cauliflower cheese was so good, a meal in itself! The chef was friendly and chatty and obviously proud of the food. The waiting staff were attentive and quick to clean tables as they were vacated. Will definitely eat here again.

A quaint little Tea Rooms with the best views. Fantastic freshly prepared meals and Fab cakes. A variety of cakes and of course Afternoon Teas, Welsh Teas and Cream Teas.
I am lucky enough to live locally and the Toll House aka 'Coffee Cups' is always a treat after a long walk around the Penrhos Nature Reserve. The food is home made simplicity at it's best, cooked from fresh, and the coffee and cakes are to die for. You can squeeze into the cosy parlour or sit outside in the garden where there are dog bowls and toys for small children to play with. Carole and her team are always warm and friendly.

We booked for 5.30pm because we had a young child with us (4years old). I offered to leave my debit card behind the bill but they declined. We were pointed to our table then NOTHING... no-one came to ask us anything!.... for ages!Eventually we had to find our own menus then ask to order drinks. The food took until 6.55pm to be brought to the table. We were all starving by then. We finally ordered deserts at 7.30pm after no-one asked for our order and we had to go to the bar to ask to order desserts. Without apology or explanation (again)the puddings hadnât arrived 25 mins later and our smallest person had run out of patience (wch is why we booked to eat SO early!) Absolutely disgusted we left.NEVER will we return!Appalling service.Food quite nice but NOT worth that wait!!Going to the White Eagle was once an outing to look forward to, that has never disappointed but tonight was a complete aberration of what they used to be and frankly an embarrassment as weâd taken a guest after telling them how great the White Eagle was but the whole evening was absurd!Hi Thank you for your review. I`m really sorry to hear you had a poor experience. when you visited yesterday . Your feed back is really important to us and i`ll make sure the team see your comments and we will action accordingly.

First time visiting, not sure about a return visit. Lovely decor, service average but staff friendly. Good selection menu, but very overpriced. Simple tweaks would go along way to justify cost.. soda bread was from a sliced loaf and not great. £4 for four slices of packet bread and mixed oil and balsamic!!! Homemade or chunks of loaf would have been better for taste and presentation and oil and balsamic separate. Garnish on all meals would have helped , especially desert. Restaurant has lots of potential.. succulent plant on table... they do great artificial ones in IKEA. Happy to pay these prices if a little more effort into plate presentation.
