We stopped here for a bite to eat and a drink while camping in the area. We'd past it's few times and said we must go here and I'm so glad we did. It's a beautiful place and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. What had a coffee, a pot of tea and to eat we had a scone with jam and cream and some bara brith. The scone and the bara brith were absolutely delicious. There is some walks you can do behind the ugly house which we want to do when we visit there again which we sure will be.

Visited here, a couple of times last year, and was quite pleased with everything . Visited Sunday last , 2 pensioners 2 under 8âs,a vegan and a gluten-free. 5 of us chose the Sunday carvery .the leek and potato soup was absolutely delecious , as was the accompanying warm roll. The meats, choice of three were absolutely fine , but the vegetables, oh dear ...undercooked leeks in bechamel , well over cooked carrots, salty red cabbage , done to death Yorkshireâs and roast potatoes . gravy was acceptable. My sonâs vegan main course ,was very crudely put together and underdone, to be fair, there wasnât a vegan option on the menu , and chef âconjured upâ a meal for him Service was pleasant and friendly, not at all professional, but suited us fine. Busy and very clean restaurant. Easy parking ,

A warm welcome greets you from Sue, Colin and all the staff at The Pont Y Pair Inn, We wish you and pleasant and comfortable stay and a memorable visit to Betws Y Coed. our inn is situated at the gateway to Snowdownia National Park, we are lucky to be in
Stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting Wales. Excellent location, great room size, comfortable beds, great facilities and an excellent breakfast included. Thought was great value for money, friendly staff and the pub in the evenings was also delicious. There is no car park allocated to the hotel, however there is plenty of options to park over night and it does state no car park on the website so this is no issue.

We had dinner here twice and breakfast three times during a three day stay. Breakfasts were well done and the dinners bordered on excellent. They have a good chef working here. very good service too.It wasn't overly busy when we were here (Monday and Tuesday) but enough people - I hope they can keep up that standard when its busy.

Visited here Easter Sunday evening and they were so accommodating and kind. Brilliant staff, this is a very friendly place so be ready to join in the jokes. Two meat eaters, a vegetarian, and vegan were all catered for with separate vegetarian and vegan menus and all homemade. Chips were to die for and pies were crumbly and filling. I'll be back for sure.

I visited this restaurant with a group of friends on a Friday night. Our table was booked for 6:30 and we arrived about 6:20. First impressions were good and the building is very old and full of character. The menu is a very confusing affair. There are about 15+ starters and even more main courses to choose from. It consists of a strange combination of Thai dishes, curry, fish and various traditional/ bistro dishes. Several of my friends were vegetarians and there was very little on the menu for them to choose from and none of the dishes were marked as suitable for vegetarians. We asked the waiter about this but he seemed fairly clueless and the only thing he could suggest was Goats Cheese. Anyway we all placed our orders and waited and waited. At 7:30 the food started to arrivedAnyway, I had ordered a lamb shoulder dish. What arrived surprised us all. It seemed to be most of the front half of a lamb probably enough to feed a family of four. The meat was tasty enough but the presentation was crude. I was expecting something a little more refined from this establishment. The other meals were of variable quality and quantity. In contrast to the lamb should some of the other dishes seemed very small. Overall I was disappointed with the visit. The menu is a confused affair with far too many things on it. The print is so small as to be illegible to many of my party. The service was slow and the waiter/ waitress poorly trained. One waitress arrived with a meal but had no idea what it was. My advice to the owner. Reduce the menu size and concentrate on doing fewer things well. Train your staff too, they not on top of things.
