Had cod & chips & scraps cooked to order, very reasonably priced & very tasty. Took them to The Endeavour Pub to eat them. Brilliant!

We visited here at around 5:30 and were seated promptly. The menu has a lot of choice. We had adult cod and chips and children's sausage and nuggets with chips. Probably the best fish I've ever had. The batter was beautiful, not one ounce of grease or fat, crispy, hot and just lovely. Kids plates had a good amount of food: not too much or too little!Clear plates all round! Service was spot on. Actually quite nice to eat somewhere where you don't have dogs yapping at your feet. Yes the UK is dog mad, but not everyone is. We have dogs, but don't take them everywhere we go so this was a huge bonus for us here. Had a lovely Rhubarb gin and tonic with my meal, which was a nice touch! Go here if you appreciate quality! All this for under £50, well worth it.

We have visited the restaurant since it opened many years ago and have always had a food review for us but this last couple of years standard's have slipped eg portion control we ordered medium Cod meal deal it was just like a small meal deal yet the week before it was a good portion obviously a different chef portion control needs addressing you get better value from out sales if this happens again I will be going else where as this not the first time.

A group of 9 of chose the Marine to celebrate the 50th anniversary of meeting each other in our student days and we were not disappointed: We pre-ordered which is fully understandable for a group of 9. The variety of choices on the menu was excellent with some really good vegetarian options. The food was superb and I would particularly recommend the shin of beef and the lobster. All of the staff did an excellent job in looking after us! I would not hesitate to recommend the Marine.

Visited here as it came recommended by my parents as being the best in Whitby. Was going to eat in but cannot justify £15 for fish and chips.. Whitby certainly knows how to charge for something which a cheap meal at home! Nevertheless, the food is really nice. We tried the fish, chips, steak pie @ sausages all of which were really nice. For the price the potions are quite small. Would visit again though as good quality.

Albertâs Eatery is a one of a kind dining experience specialising in quality, fresh, local seafood. Whether youâre looking for a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day, a relaxed lunch after walking up and down the cobbles, or a fine dining experience
We came here for a special family lunch. There were 6 adults, 3 children and two dogs. We were made to feel very welcome nothing was too much trouble. Really interesting place and the food was fantastic. 3 had the seafood platter and everything was top quality and fresh. 2 had steaks and they were perfectly cooked. We would definitely come back.

There's plenty of competition in Whitby for those who love their traditional fish & chips, but this one is right up there. Not in the most obvious/ prominent position, but fairly easy to find. The service and the food were spot-on. No complaints. And that little bit cheaper than some more famous places, such as Magpie Cafe.

We stayed overnight, they also do a B & B, great standard of room, clean, comfortable and well appointed, The meal we had was to a very high standard, they specialise in fish & Steaks but they also accommodate all other needsWe had the last table, only seats around 20 so best book, the specials board and menu were really great choiceYvonne decided on a shared fish platter and chicken breast, they were both very very good the squid, scampi and cod fingers & filo prawns all home battered or breaded, nothing from a box here, the chicken just melted in your mouth, so tender I was amazed how good it was.I had a rib eye, I never eat steak unless I think itâs going to be good, oh was it good, cooked beautifully, served with vegetables, three times cooked chips, I was stuffed, no room for pudding, but I bet it would of been very good.I would recommend this place, spoil your self not too pricey eitherOh the breakfast was equally as good, all quality ingredients cooked well and served by very helpful staff Canât wait to come back and spoil ourselves

Named one of the best beaches in the World, the picturesque village of Robin Hoodâs Bay is home to the Bramblewick Fish & Grill. Dating back to the 17th century, just a stone's throw from the beach. Indulge in a mouth-watering evening meal, freshly prepar
My sister and I popped into here for lunch. Best stop ever. I had seafood platter that came with warm bread home made pickles. The cockles and mussels in a little jar with cocktail sticks to eat them was brilliant. My sister had the mussels which were the best we have ever ever tasted. Plump fresh with a wine and shallot sauce to dip your warm bread in. If ever in Robin Hoods Bay give this a try you definitely wonât be disappointed.
