We visited this outlet by chance as we were staying close by. The restaurant was very busy both with small dining parties and a large party of 30 downstairs. The outlet also has rooms which we will return to sample if the quality of the restaurant food and service is anything to go by.The menu was varied and had dishes we had not tried anywhere else and all items were freshly cooked and had flavours to excite the most discerning palate. The service was attentive but not intrusive making for a really good visit. It was obvious that booking a table is a must to guarantee you can dine at this superb outlet. No wonder they had achieved such awards. Thank you for taking the time to write us such a kind review. We are very pleased you had such a great experience with us, and enjoyed our locally sourced dishes! We hope to welcome you back in the future,

Cotswolds town of Chipping Norton left behind on way to Bicester saw signs for the Tite Inn at Chadlington. Decided to investigate - so pleased we did as this charming pub restaurant was a great ''Find''. Tite is a meaning of trough for water which ran through the village. The food here is extremely good and value for money. well served in a pleasant manner in lovely surroundings. We will probably never pass this way again but if we do.........! Recommended.

Husband and I visited for Sunday lunch. Booked in advance as we were meeting friends but unfortunately they couldn't come so we ended up dining alone. The pub itself is lovely, especially in the bar area with its low ceilings and cosy, rustic atmosphere. We were seated in an extension out the back which was still decorated nicely but we probably would have preferred to sit in the cosier older part of the pub and will ask for this next time. My husband and I both had 3 course lunches. My husband had the soup which was cider and onion and came with a roll. I had a hot chilli smoked salmon which although delicious was a bit small for the price and I would have liked a roll with mine too. These came swiftly though and we didn't wait long even though the pub was busy. We both then had roast beef which despite some negative reviews on here was superb. Two generous thick slices of pink succulent beef on some greens and a sweet carrot, chunky roast potatoes and a glorious Yorkshire on top. what's not to like? This also came with a much enjoyed dish of cauliflower cheese which in my opinion is a staple to any roast dinner. I hate it when you're paying good money and get a postage stamp worth on a plate but the portion was generous and we were both fat and happy by the end of it! Then the puddings. My husband is rarely tempted by puds but went for a peach iced parfait with ginger snap crisps and roast peaches. It was divine and very pretty on the plate. I had the bread and butter pudding which was equally delicious and plenty of it. Again we didn't have to wait long to receive any of our courses. My only criticisms of our visit was that we were sat with empty glasses for a long time between courses and when these were collected, the waitress didn't stop to ask if we wanted any more drinks she just took them when passing and quickly disappeared. I would also say the puddings and starters are a bit over priced for what you get but I did appreciate a different selection to what you normally get on a pub sunday lunch menu. You can get the likes of pate and toast, prawn cocktail, sticky toffee pudding and chocolate brownie anywhere these days so it was a welcome change to have some different choices and it was all well cooked and tasted great. We will certainly return for more!

My husband and I visited the inn during the bank holiday. From the moment we arrived to this stunning location, staff were more than helpful. We were shown to our spacious room and en-suite overlooking the gardens and beautiful views. We enjoyed a drink outside and then came inside to eat. The food was absolutely incredible. We chose to have the tuna and roe deer for starter and the lamb and duck for our main, we were not disappointed. To accompany our food we chose to have Coravin wines which our waiter (who has exceptional knowledge on wine) took the time to help pair with each course. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was also amazing (the homemade black pudding especially). Adam, the new owner, took time to introduce himself and talk to us during both days. We were advised on different places we could go for lunch and various walks we could enjoy. Will definitely be returning.

Historic Cotswold Pub in a small village. This is a laid back family run pub, that provides home cooked food in a friendly environment. There is a large beer garden for all to enjoy, whether it's for a drink or meal. Popular for their burgers, pizza and c

We visited for lunch on a Friday. The place was completely empty, not a soul.We ordered some food and drinks. Only one ale was available so I ordered that to find the pint was completely off. Not just turned but rancid off. Must have been like it for days.Presumably the same must of happened to the other two ales that had their badges turned round at the pump. The food though was even worse. The ploughmans had a very large amount of cheese but only a small part baked baguette (which was still raw in the middle) and a few leaves to go with it.Thankfully I left half the cheese as on turning it over, had what I can only think was someone elseâs branston pickle on it from the ploughmans they ordered and couldnât eat the cheese on its own.My wifeâs grilled halloumi was deep fried, and verging on inedible. How on earth this place has the reviews it does (or had). The fact there have been few positive ones this year suggests they have changed chef. We certainly wonât be going back!

I stayed for 2 nights as going to Riat. Staff were very friendly and check in easy .My room was large and very clean. Plenty of tea and coffee. Hairdryer. Large tv and a huge bathroom. It was on the road side but I did not notice any excessive noise. There was a bit of a mix up the first morning as I asked a very early breakfast but wires got crossed, however staff were very apologetic. I had something packed for me for the second morning with no problems. It was a pity as I would definitely have liked to have had breakfast. I dined Friday and Saturday night there and the food was excellent. I would recommend the liver and bacon but the pork belly was just wonderful. Just a recommendation for the room would be a small pull out mirror for the bathroom. There was a large light up mirror but this was quite far away as behind the sink and I found it difficult to see to do my makeup. Otherwise a very nice place to stay.

Came for supper with a friend and were ushered to our table. A bottle of water appeared and bucket of ice, lemon & pair of tongues delivered. We chose two staters and shared both - scotch egg and fish cake. Both tasty n hot. We both chose the duck for main. It came slightly pink but disappointed with only just warm noodles and not sure what the rest was meant to be. Cabbage and bean sprouts. Service was excellent. Atmosphere lovely and decor modern & country style. Prices were plenty enough £40 each inc red wine.

What a lovely experience at lunchtime today. We were greeted with a pleasant welcome with very attentive staff. My partner was undecided on his drink and was given samples so he could decide. Lunch was warm, tasty, with a good choice of meats & vegetables. A pleasant view over the countryside as we had a table window. We were not rushed and felt relaxed in the pleasant atmosphere. Would highly recommend and we will be back for sure. Thank you so much for leaving us such a wonderful review. It really does mean so much to us all when we receive positive feedback on how hard we work!We look forward to welcoming you in the futureMia
