A dog friendly pub offering good home cooked food from a classic pub menu served Tuesday - Saturday. Separate Burger menu. Sunday roasts served 12-5pm. Wide choice of drinks, including 5 real ales, 4 draught lagers, 3 draught ciders & 90+ gins. Warm cosy
Went last night for a midweek dinner and turn out to be a top draw Greek Mezze event. Been there before and I thought it was time for me to tell the world about this little gem. Service has always been good, food reasonable and good value for money, what makes it even better.Would recommend to anyone to make it for a Sunday lunch and life music in the garden thatâs another great excuse to go.

Pub/restaurant serving good food in attractive surroundings regularly changing menu, large selection of fresh fish and daily specials
Our first visit even though we have lived on the peninsular for around three years. Lovely ambiance and friendly welcome. Thursday lunchtime, so not overly busy. Lovely touches like proper serviettes and jugs of water already on the table. Not that much choice of real ale. Food was superb. I had the calves liver and my wife the cod and prawn linguine. Not open Sundays & Mondays. We will be back

Although this venue has been open for a while,I always steered clear because of other persons views--agreed to meet friends there for a drink but was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere and ended up having a sit down meal.food was surprisingly good, service acceptable as it was very busy and enjoyed it all-will probably return to try something other than a steak

Overall a good menu with a couple of excellent vegan options too. Staff are perfectly professional but struggled during busy periods. Bottomless drinks are easy on the wallet but under-carbonated. Vegan burger one of the best you can get in the UK. Weâd definitely come again.

A small village pub serving a selection of wines, beers and spirits with a restaurant area serving fresh, home cooked food. Please note the opening hours specified is when food is served... We are open daily from 12:00 till 23:00 for drinks!
Yet again we've visited The Castle at Ramsey and had another good lunch. Very welcoming, good menu and very tasty, reasonably priced food.My only issue was that there was only one real ale on offer. However, I tried this and it was great . In fact it was so good I needed a second one.I've never had a bad lunch here - it's always busy with locals which speaks volumes about what's on offer.

We were looking for a nice place to eat before taking the boot back when we found this lovely restaurant! Even though it was a Saturday evening, the waiters worked hard to find us a place and were incredibly welcoming and kind. They made our evening! The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the food was good. I would definitely recommend this place.

We came here after it being recommend. When you first walk in, you will get the feeling that it's very small but don't be put off. We were taken through to the restaurant at the back, it only seats about 30 people. The menu choice is very good, you also have a specials board available, they have burgers, pies, fish, steaks and much more choice. I had the chicken, ham and leek pie, it was lovely, my niece had the sausage and mash and she said the sausages were amazing. The service was very efficient, we could see into the kitchen, I'd say it all looked very clean and looked after. We didn't have pudding as we were going out for a few drinks after the meal. I'd say give this place ago you will not be disappointed.
