Six of us had a very nice dinner here. I chose The George because of the varied menu and everyone was very happy with their various choices. Several of us didn't need a big meal and the 'Light Bites' options were appreciated and more than adequate. Despite multiple bottles of wine and other drinks, and six meals, the bill was very reasonable and the service excellent. I was the only one to enjoy a sweet, a lemon posset, (see photo). Really nice, with a stick of shortbread and a meringue.

An award-winning Cotswold village pub in Southrop, part of Thyme (an historic Cotswold estate with hotel, cookery school, spa and a new restaurant opening in autumn 2018), the menus celebrate the ingredients and flavours of their farm and kitchen garden.
Stunning pub, beautiful interior, great menu - I wish I could have had one of everything! Very attentive staff...to begin with but unfortunately the service tailed off towards the end as they neared the end of the lunch service at 4pm.Overall, a lovely pub and great food.

This 17th century coaching inn serves good honest pub food in both our bar and dining area. We can seat up to 100 people as well as offering outdoor dining in our courtyard or down by the River Thames.
Stayed for one night in hotel and thoroughly enjoyed the evening meal. Both had the beef signature dish, excellent. Starter (whitebait) and dessert (apple crumble) just as good. Breakfast (included in our stay) also excellent. All food piping hot. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The Old Spotted Cow is a pretty village pub on the outskirts of Marston Meysey, the northern-most village in Wiltshire. We have records of it as a pub as early as 1841, when the first census was taken, and it still retains many of the old features befitti
Been twice now. This place is one of the best Iâve eaten at for Sunday lunch. I would recommend booking ahead as when we have been it gets fairly busy. The restaurant is lovely and cosy and is nice for both couples and families. They also have an excellent selection of tapas on menu if thatâs your kind of thing. Will definitely be back...again!

I visited on Monday lunchtime just over 12 months since my last visit and received a genuinely warm welcome and was pleasantly surprised that the restaurant and bar were buzzing with a great ambience. The building is very atmospheric with a beautiful original interior. The menu is extensive and caters for most tastes and is competitively priced. I chose the soup starter followed by the seafood linguine both of which were beautifully presented , flavoursome and generously portioned. A beautiful Cotswold village, adorned with an equally beautiful village pub with equally delicious locally sourced ingredients making for a truly winning recipe and a must visit culinary delight.

The Keepers Arms is a traditional cotswold pub with rooms in the Cotswolds. Family run since 2007 we appear in the good beer guide, since 2010, and were a cotswold life finalist in 2013. We won channel fours "Four in a bed" in 2015 and Camras pub of the y
Two of us visited for lunch on a sunny Wednesday. The inside of this old pub has been very tastefully fitted out with up to date modern furniture and colours creating a very pleasant ambience. I was greeted by the manager who was very jolly and has a quirky sense of humour. We chose to take advantage of the good weather and eat outside in the paved beer garden at the front of the pub. We just had the one course, my friend opting for the fish and chips and I had a chicken dish. The food was very good, the surroundings were pleasant, the service was good and the toilets were spotless. I have never beenhere before but it will go on my list of good places to visit.

Welcome to The Bull, a Grade II-listed coaching inn, gloriously situated on the Market Square in Fairford, a picture-perfect market town in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Recently taken over by renowned chef, Sebastian Snow, and his wife, Lana, The Bull n

We had a lovely meal here during a short break. The food was incredible. Highly recommend the potted rabbit. Delicious! The staff were friendly and attentive (we were sat near a large party and the staff were always checking we were ok). Would definitely visit again.

A fantastic little pub situated in the Cotswold region which boasts great British pub food with indoor or outdoor seating. Regular live music Friday nights of varying genres, and a challenging pub quiz every Thursday night. We are also proud of our alcohol
Situated in this quaint village (church has the oldest stained glass windows in the country) pub provided us with a lovely Sunday lunch. Good menu offering a Sunday roast special and the chips (fries) were awesome. Good selection on menu for most diets and drinking habits. Only a small pub and it is located right next to the road but traffic is minimal, if sitting outside in the walled garden. Love these village pubs!
