At this pub the restaurant serves excellent home cooked food at 'pub' prices. The restaurant is a separate entity from the pub, operated by the local Clark Catering company. There is a comprehensive menu, which changes on a monthly basis and currently includes, for example, rich beef and red wine Lasagne at £9.95, and salmon fillet at £12.95 - both dishes with a generous selection of vegetables and highly recommended. There are a wide range of starters and desserts all at £4.95.The staff and really friendly and engaging. Highly recommneded.

Had to cancel previous booking due to illness, but turned up yesterday evening on the off chance. Friendly atmosphere and warm welcome the moment we arrived. Selection of dishes was good, especially for vegetarians, with choices prominently displayed on board, so didn't even have to ask if there were vegetarian options before seeing the menu. Landlord very attentive, although rushed off his feet. Quality of food first rate! Will definitely revisit. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Oh, and did I say the beer was good and prices very reasonable.

Had lunch here this weekend with family. We had eaten here before last year but there are new staff in recent weeks. The food was lovely, all home made and delicious. We will be back.

Smith's is a multi award winning, characterful pub situated in the centre of the Lincolnshire market town of Bourne. No matter what time of day you are passing, please feel free to drop by for a pint of real ale, a cup of coffee or a bite to eat in a rela
1. I ordered the chargrilled chicken caesar salad. Chicken was NOT chargrilled. More like boiled. Also there was NO crispy bacon at all, as indicated on the menu. I suppose I should have spoken up, but my wife and daughter-in-law would have been mortified, so I kept quiet.2. Went to the bar for a second round of drinks during dinner. The person in front of me ordered 2 pints of something and was offered a tray to carry them on to their table. Don't know whether it was my American accent or what, but I ordered 2 pints and a glass of wine. A bit tricky to carry, but no carrying tray on offer for me. So rather than make a stink, I opted to carry all 3. Got as far as the outside patio, and was semi-covered in Coca Cola. So I put one glass down on the nearest empty table, carried 2 glasses to our table and then came back for the third.Based on 1. & 2. I am unsure I would go back, even though my son & daughter-in-law live locally.

Very expensive lunch. Vegetable soup that came & was Chicken soup, another in the party was something indiscribable because it had so much pepper in it. I would have expected more attention to service considering the cost. Very poor never to repeat the experience.

Traditional village pub serving good, home cooked food. With regular live music and tradional cask ales.
A pleasant local venue for our tenpin bowling group Christmas lunch. Decorations, service and food were all very satisfactory, and as they say, a good time was had by all!

Visited on a Friday evening with friends Service was good all night very attentive and professional. Some mains didnât come out together with a slight delay but thatâs a small detail. Food quality, especially that of the pizza was excellent and thought it was great value for money All in all a very good experience we will return
