We are a fully refurbished pub during the day we proud of our home made food our char grilled flavor it was one of our specialties and we proud to be one of the few places that still do home made chips (proper) dishes like the Piri-Piri chicken, the skewe
Visited with a large group and Iâm not sure they could really cope with this even though they made everyone order in advance. Reaction to the food was mixed around the table but both my wife and I found our meals acceptable for the price, but not good enough to specifically return. The staff were all very friendly and the place stylishly decorated but the live metal band were pretty terrible. My best advice would be to reduce the menu by 2/3 and concentrate of being a master of fewer trades than a jack of all but master of none.
Good food shame that Coleslaw not added to meal deal though as advertised, after all the meal deal is dearer.hi therethanks for your feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed your meal. I am awfully sorry that we didn't put coleslaw on your meal - we had run out of our Homemade coleslaw after a busy night so we couldn't put it on. Apologies again and I'll be sure to put an extra pot in on the house next time you order.kind regardsamy
The falcon is a lovely friendly, homely pub... it caters for all the family with the children playing in the stream like we did as children ourselves... while mams and dads get to have a little drink together... Sue and Dee are very welcoming and will do anything to accommodate you and your family... Sue is working so hard at making the falcon a place where people will feel at home and be her dream home/family pub!

Another fantastic cooked meal at Bwyty Bach Catrin. We pre ordered two mixed grills and it was well worth the money. The quality and portions of meat on the plate was second to none and cooked perfect. Tip: save room in your stomach during the day if having the mixed grill, youâll need it.

Great pub, friendly, happy, helpful staff & very accommodating towards plantbased diets. Chef came out to run through vegan menu and was more than happy to supply alternative items such as sauces. Chef even looked at ingredients to ensure items were suitable! Although they offer a dairy free ice cream and they very kindly offered a fruit salad for dessert, chef suggested the next time we visit to ring through and he would have a plantbased / vegan dessert on the menu! What more can a girl ask for! The falafel meal I had was lovely. Falafel were very tasty and owners own recipe! Will absolutely return for them!
Called for a meal early evening, warm welcome friendly service, and super food. We will return soon .well done mount pleasant.
My title says it all!The Sunday Lunch was very poor. No taste as if the 'Chef' had not seasoned the veg!Tasteless and at over £10 very expensive! Drinks are and must be the most expensive in Wales and again the local brew is like water!A place to avoid! Do yourself a favour and stay well away!Dear beatles1982,Thank you for taking the time to review our business, we are sorry to hear about your apparent experience, we welcome all feedback and appreciate your point of view. Me and the mrs came here with some rare free time together. We didn't have to wait long for food to come and mine was lovely, I had a burger with bbq pulled port and cheese. Cheesy garlic bread was amazing. The mrs wasn't to keen on her lasagne as there was mushrooms in it and she doesn't like them, Not that it's their fault at all.I'd definitely come back.

The Red Cow, Llwydcoed offers high quality meals in a newly refurbished first class restaurant. Whilst the bar offers a more relaxed comfortable atmosphere in which to enjoy your food. Pre book or just drop in. all are welcome !
I recently had the pleasure of visiting and dining at The Red Cow for a birthday party. The staff were great. Genuinely friendly and welcoming. The food was cooked to a very high standard. Itâs certainly not fine dining, but itâs as close as youâll get for âpub grubâ.The general consensus of the group was that the quality of the food was excellent, including my own. The sides that accompanied the dishes lacked in terms of variety and portion size. Additional sides werenât offered and would have been welcomed. The childrenâs meals seemed basic - 2 small sausages with a small potion of chips could have been improved by offering an additional side (peas/beans may have been good?).Unfortunately the staff didnât take drink orders which was perhaps a missed opportunity for business? We only saw the staff when they presented and collected our plates. The price of drinks at the bar however were well below expectations! All this being said, I would very happily return again and recommend if you havenât been before. To the staff and management - thank you for an enjoyable evening!
