1. Need to not complain when their guests are 5 mins late for a reservation. 5.30pm turned up at 5.35pm2. Not offer online booking and then moan âit costs them for online booking and in future to please call upâ3. Say to guests âI am taking your order in 2 mins after they have just been given menusâ. How rude!4. Not offer guests desserts or coffees and just present them the bill. Again rudeness. As you can guess we were in and out of La Mamas within 1 hour. Complained to the manager and he said that Alberts would have cancelled my booking if we were late. . Then claimed they forgot to take desserts order despite offering them to the kids.If you want rude and arrogant service, this is the place to spend your money, but plenty of other nicer venues to spend your cash. Claimed they were going to busy this evening on a Saturday despite us being the only guests in the restaurant at 6.30pm and 5 staff stood around doing nothing.

A group of 10 of us dined on Saturday night. The restaurant is big enough to accommodate large groups.Nice waiting area were you can have a drink in comfortable seating with relaxing surroundings. The staff are friendly and polite. Most of us ate from the early bird menu, which had an adequate selection of food to suit most tastesFood was nice and tasty, not 5 star, but nice enough to give it a 4 out of 5.I would eat here again because of my overall experience.

Despite having passed this restaurant dozens of times, Iâd never before ventured in. We had cocktails in a comfy lounge area where we ordered our meals, prior to being seated in a pleasantly decorated room. Whilst it was difficult to choose from numerous attractive starters and mains within both the main and special menus, I was very glad that I chose the whole, baked sea bass. It was the largest that Iâve ever seen and though it took an age to eat, it was perfectly cooked. Starters were commendable as was the recommended white wine. Several young waitresses were affable and attentive and whilst there was an accidental overcharge on the bill (immediately rectified) overall an enjoyable experience to hopefully be repeated.

We came here with 2 friends as they had been a few times before and highly recommended the restaurant, it's a lovely restaurant with great decor and atmosphere, the staff were very helpful and attentive the young lady we had was super, unfortunately we didnt get her name otherwise I would have given her a mention. The food was very tasty and plentiful we each had a starter and a main, all reasonably priced as were the drinks, all in all we will certainly visit again and again, personally I think you would have to venture into manchester to find an italian restaurant to match its quality and ambience, thanks again guys.

Have been to this restaurant a few times before tonight. Food and atmosphere and staff always positive. However, tonightâs experience was entirely different. The staff looked and acted like they had a long and hard day. The starters were cold and the main did not live up to its description. Ver disappointed. Wonât return.

Really lovely staff. Food very bland and overpriced. Ordered off the specials and it felt like something youâd buy from the supermarket. Menus/decor need an update.

We called on spec at lunchtime & were greeted warmly by a lovely young lady. Well what can I say but just fabulous food, lovely staff too. We were offered an Italian type of tapas. All the dishes, 3 each, were delicious. Dishes Iâd never heard of before but we gave them a try & were not disappointed. We just canât wait to go back again.
