Pleasant service. Food good but not at all outstanding. Obviously just opened but much work needs to be done with car park.

2 cousins 1 passion - hospitality. Great fresh in house cooked pastas stemming from Italian recipes with a twist from Ben Harvey with his cousin Dominic BOREL leading the front of house operation - a perfect mix!
Not a negative on the whole place. From the service to the food, to the drink, not one thing is poor about this place. Friendly engaging welcome and clarifying a small but fresh menu. Food is of a very high standard. A great little place that is five star in all aspects

Managed to get a last minute booking on a Saturday night. The restaurant was crowded with a wonderful buzz. The staff were friendly and efficient. We looked at an amazing specials menu. The restaurant focuses on pasta and Italian mains but also does fantastic Roman style (thin crust) pizzas. My wife had the pork and octopus stew and I had a Sicilian pasta dish. The dishes were cooked perfectly with wonderful fresh ingredients. The portions were good and with a starter and main we were both full. A nice selection of Italian (Sicilian) wines at reasonable prices. For dessert we shared a good, slightly boozy tiramisu. It was good but I often feel desserts are the weakest part of many Italian restaurants. Itâs not that it was bad just that the starter and main were exceptional.A great meal out. Efficient, attentive but not obtrusive service from the smiling black clad waiting staff. The bill was a trifle over £90 with aperitifs and a £25 bottle of wine. I was more than happy to add a generous tip.I really enjoyed Prego. Great food. Not pretentious. Definitely coming back

We booked on a Thursday, late afternoon (4.45pm), so it wasn't busy, but we waited a long time for our meals once we had ordered - all the time deafened by loud, heavy beat, dated music. Eventually we saw the meals appear on the window but we then waited a further 10 minute for the waitress to bring them to us. The flavours were bland and my steak was over cooked, rather gristly and pretty tasteless. I was not impressed by the outdated use of an oversized black pepper grinder wielded by the waitress when I requested it (there is no pepper on the tables) - and I would much prefer to put my own on! We were not impressed by the desserts either, which were overpriced, rather small and smothered in processed, canned squirty cream. Overall, not at all worth the money charged and a rather unpleasant experience. Never again!

I have been here lots of times in the past. Delicious food. especially the cheesecake. Absolutely fantastic!! Would recommend to anyone. However very slow service. I have had to catch a staff member every time I want to order and for the bill. I asked one girl and she never would take my order, said the other girl will do it and then just stood doing nothing. This could be made more efficient. Overall great restaurant .Very yummy.

Delicious food. Stylish surroundings. Something for everyone. Because we know that the right surroundings can be just as important as the food, our cosy, contemporary restaurants set the scene for every occasion.
Visited on a busy Friday night, a little noisy but not the restaurants fault. Service was good. Food was very tasty with excellent gluten free choices. We also felt like it was good value for money. Will definitely be returning!

Post shopping at Cribbs we were in need of food & prefer this BI over the one nearerest to Cribbs. Once again it did not disappoint but it is the two young men on duty who really made a good experience great. We arrived about 4pm Sunday 18th August so hopefully the company will be able to idenfy who was on duty at that time. We were greated so warmly by the tall young guy who appeared to be a supervisor(?). He was friendly & efficent & we exchanged a few jokes & a bit of fun. He let us chose our own table. We are Tastecard holders & he went over & above to make sure we got the best deal we were entitled to. Then our waiter arrived, another professional, friendly staff member. The service we received was timely & perfect & our lovely waiter saw we had everything we needed. The food was very good indeed & our bill reasonable. We often eat here after shopping but we have also visited in the evening & brought friends along several times who enjoyed it also. Please thank the two young men I have mentioned for making our afternoon so pleasant. They are an asset to your business. We will revisit soon

Feeling hungry but being a bit too early for lunch, decided to go for the 'traditional breakfast' option; so glad I did. It was delicious and crispy pancetta is now my new favourite thing, absolutely delicious! This Italian version of the 'full English' is (imo) much tastier than the original and the service was faultless - well done Carluccios!Hi Trelawneyuk, It's great to read such a glowing review about Carluccio's - Bristol, Cribbs Causeway! We are so pleased you enjoyed your breakfast with us. I have shared your much appreciated feedback with the team. We look forward to welcoming you back again very soon.Kind regards,Heidi Wilkinson

once inside the restaurant there is a good feeling and the conservatory area is lovely setting. It was a very busy Saturday night but the service was attentive and efficient.I had a sort of bacon, avocado salad to start which was a good size and enjoyable. The main was a little disappointing the fish stew was not as I expected. My idea of fish stew is fish cooked in a broth but the seafood, which I might add was lovely, was served in a tomato sauce. It was tasty but maybe better served on pasta!Wine averagely priced and staff very good.

Family-run Italian/Sardinian restaurant where everydish is homemade each day with passion. Freshly homemade pastas, slow-cooked meats,72 hours pizza dough, homemade desserts good wines and amazing staff at Zanky's!
As frequent visitors to Sardinia we were thrilled to find a Sardinian restaurant so close to home. We ordered several antipasti alongside main courses, wine, coffee and sides- all were delicious! But these portion sizes were small, the restaurant space is minuscule (there was a large table behind us which was loud - no fault of the restaurant but it was offputting) and it was so hot we couldnât enjoy the meal. The wine cost on the bill differed to the cost on the menu, although we didnât question this at the time, and the 15% surcharge was outrageous for a party of 4. Sadly we wonât be returning but wish this wasnât the case because the food was great.
