Things to do in Bridgend
My family have had three meals from this place two of which were kebabs. On their last visit I decided to partake and ordered a lamb dish, the Special Jeera Bhuna, which was delicious. Other than the Ashoka or Natraj I don't generally enjoy local take aways but this was delicious and I will try other recipes from here. Recommended.

Having taken over the premises previously occupied by Bengal Lounge in Kenfig Hill in late December 2018, we have now eaten at Swaddesh on a couple of occasions. The ambience, staff and management are all very pleasant and although not busy (there were less than ten diners when we were there yesterday evening, 24th January) the presentation and quality of food seems to be very good. The meals including drinks was in excess of £60 for two but for a special occasion would be acceptable.

We ordered a takeaway. It was delivered 20mins late. One of the main dishes was missing. In retrospect thank goodness as there was not one of the 5 dishes that we ordered that was edible. The naans were stale as was the oil theyâd cooked them in. Wish weâd looked at trip advisor reviews before ordering.

We've tried them all. We keep returning to Bridgend Balti House as the food is by far better than any other takeaway. We've tried restaurants where the food is double the price and no where near as delicious as Bridgend Balti House! The prawn puree and chicken tikka starter is to die for. Excellent choice of meat and vegatarian dishes. The staff are friendly and home delivery is quick. We highly recommend!

Whether it's eat in, buffet or take away, I've always had a delicious meal from Cinnamon. It's not my nearest takeaway but it's definitely the best and worth travelling to. Polite service is always offered here. It's nice to have a cold Indian beer whilst waiting for our takeaway order too!

Welcome to Exotic Shaad, located in your local Bridgend area on Nolton Street. Serving Authentic Southern Indian Cuisine cooked and prepared freshly by our very own 30 years experienced Chef Chandra bringing flavours of Kerala and Tamil regions with a mod
There were lots of options in the menu unlike other Indians in Bridgend. They had more vegetarian options as well. I tried their recommended 'Kerala chicken curry' which was different and perfect to suit my heat levels. I like how poppadums were shaped in triangles so don't have to break them myself and easy to dip in chutney. Good service and good food. Highly recommend this place.

Visited a couple of weeks ago. Had my usual veg thali which was excellent. Numerous small dishes of lovely rich Indian food. Rice cooked to perfection! Excellent price as well, under £12 and believe me although the dishes are small, theres more than enough for one person. Great, friendly service topped off in a friendly, ecclectic environment.

Was staying over at Colman Court and based on recommendations we used the attached restaurant. We were not disappointed! We started with some mixed starters which were really tasty - the prawns were super big and plump. Then onto mains all of which were really well spiced and tasty. Breads and sides were also really nice, and everything was well portioned so fair to say we were full up!The staff were really friendly and helped make the meal and the night a great event.Well recommended.

Had the Lahore Balti which was AB FAB. Probably the best curry I've ever had. Great combination of flavour and heat. Very nice restaurant, good decor, modern, reasonably priced for both food and drinks. My only downside is the staff are not very welcoming. Not offensive, but not congenial either. Would not stop me coming here though as the food is superb.
