The quality of the food here is incredible. Big fan of Indian food and British Indian Restaurants in general (see my other reviews). Itâs just a shame we live at the opposite end of the country, otherwise this would be our first choice back at home every time. Mixed kebab starter was as tasty and well seasoned as they come. Fragrant with Garam Masala and an occasional hint of whole Cumin seed. All perfectly tender and fresh. The part I love the most is NO artificial food colouring. This is such a breath of fresh air. All our local BIR at home use artificial red and yellow food colouring on nearly all the meat and rice. Totally unnecessary chemicals. But not at Curryzma. Natural colours and the flavours speak for themselves. Wonderful stuff. Main courses were Chicken Naga and Vegetable Madras. Again, both brilliantly seasoned and full of flavour. Weâve both eaten our fair share of insipid Madras curries, but this was very well seasoned and tasty with just the right kick. The potent flavour of the Naga pickle is always a favourite of mine. Iâve eaten them before where Iâve struggled to taste it. But not here. The flavour shone through brightly. Our mushroom rice and Vegetable Paratha bread were also some of the best weâve had anywhere. The rice was fluffy and fresh. Fragrant, tasty, and just a hint of fresh coriander and ghee butter gave it a luxurious home cooked feel. The Paratha was the perfect bread to mop up the delicious gravy from our food. We nearly took a chance at the place over the road, and weâre glad we didnât. Weâd come back here every single time. The prices are fantastic, too. Excellent value for food that is clearly cooked by chefs who care and know what they are doing. Apart from the food being perfect, so too was the service. Friendly and efficient. Top job all around. Look forward to returning soon when weâre next in town!

âHaweliâ derived from Hindi word âHaveliâ which describes an enclosed mansion built with pride to keep family members together. The word therefore immediately gives a sense of security, trust and closeness. The Haweli of Belmontâs philosophy lies on this
Got recommended to try here by family. We all order regularly from here and have all had similar experiences. First few times food was pretty good but then there food is very expensive. I mean £15.00 for a king prawn main dish.My 4th takeaway was terrible I mean a child could of cooked it. So I thought it was a one off. Next time I ordered I mentioned it and the manager couldn't get me off the phone quick enough and his excuse for the poor quality off food was "Ah yes we were very busy that night that was why" no sorry or anything just said that and said your order will be ready in 20 mins and hang up.I was a bit annoyed about it but still a few weeks later I ring up this time for a delivery. I was quoted 45mins delivery and an hour and a half later it turned up. Before it turned up I rang up the shop at 1hour and 10 mins to chase it up. Soon as he realised I wasn't placing another order he said it's on its way. I said I hope it won't be cold he quickly said no it will be fine and hung up on me. Driver turns up bill was £6 more than meant to be we had added it up I queried it and the driver looked surprised I had done so. There was a £3 delivery fee which was not mentioned and another £3 we couldn't account for.I said to the driver I'm not paying it, he said you have to I said it doesn't add up to that and there was no mention of a delivery fee as it says free delivery 18£ and over and we had spent 35£. He was adamant I paid it to which I said the delivery was 45 mins late, buy this point I said take the curry back then and he said you can't do that. So I paid him what it should of been. I won't be ringing up again as unless you are spending money on the phone he don't want you on there, they do not care for any complaints. So you may be lucky and get a nice meal which is overpriced or you could get a terrible meal which is overpriced. Either way you will get terrible customer service from an ignorant money grabbing manager. And I will be going elsewhere from now on. As I get free delivery and about a £10-£12 less on the same takeaway elsewhere with excellent service. Avoid this money grabbing image conscious restaraunt.

This restaurant is lovely in decor, and good air con. Choice of drinks excellent, very nice house red wine. Service excellent, really friendly. The tandoori king prawns though were disappointing they were quite bland and very cool. Side dishes were excellent too .

No words can describe this appalling restaurant, from drinks, starters to walking out, before main course arrived as other tables also complained, again stay away....!!!!!!!

Though our food will tell you our story. Modern Indian Cuisine brought to you by world class chefs in a rustic but cosy setting.
Dastaan's menu is, unlike the average curry house, quite short. But that's to the diner's advantage. Our group ordered three different chicken dishes and one lamb dish. All tasted significantly different. The accompanying dahl was good but the spinach and mushroom was magnificent. All portions were generous. Service was sometimes inept (you know who you are) but that was a minor distraction. Furthermore, no service charge is added to the bill, which makes dining out at Dastaan very affordable. One reviewer suggested that the restaurant should be awarded a Michelin star. The truth is Dastaan is never going to achieve a star because it's not that sort of place â but it's already been awarded a Michelin bib gourmand and two AA rosettes. It will definitely keep these accolades if it keeps serving up such good food to the people of Epsom-Ewell and beyond.

Went for a family meal last night with my fussy mum and uncle! Both treated really well and had the menu explained and both loved their dishes. The staff are friendly and welcoming. We also shared NYE with the staff and it was wonderful. The food is consistently great and wonderful flavours, I even enjoyed the veggie option last night! Thank you Zaika for a lovely evening and for your hospitality.

The home of Indian Cuisine in Nescot Skills Park. Ewell, near Epsom, Surrey. Please join us in our licensed restaurant or take advantage of our takeaway collection of delivery service. Free parking.
We attended on a Thursday evening for a mid week meal. We had more dishes than we would at a normal curry since the price is very reasonable. The restaurant was not busy and the food which arrived was very nice. We did have to order an extra rice so would advise one rice per person. Try the sizzling meat starter for two to share!

Visited this lovely restaurant again with very special friends from Scotland, and I was so delighted at the full experience my Party were treated to, by efficient caring waiting staff, and the tastiest food around. The setting and ambience are excellent, with a varied choice of delightful dishes, at good pricing. This is my Restaurant of choice now for great Indian food.
