Itâs always a blessing to be able to walk to the local Indian in the own village (Windlesham, Surrey£. Then when you add great food, great service, a lovely ambiance & great value you have everything for a great evening out.

Visited on Tuesday night and it was quiet so we had excellent service. Plenty of space inside and easy for buggyâs and wheel chairs. Parking on site but one line of fish bone laid out spaces so be prepared to manoeuvre carefully. Very large menu selection for starters and mains. The head waiter was a cheeky chappy which entertained everyone. Outside seating available in the rear area. Would recommend. Please like if this helped.

I last reviewed Ascot Spices in 2012 and gave it a good 4 star rating. But what on earth has happened in the intervening years? This was the worst Indian food we've been served in years. Our arrogant, idiot waiter managed to get my order wrong, bringing chicken vindaloo instead of lamb vindaloo... and then accusing me (!) of giving him the wrong order. An alternative waiter rushed off with the chicken vindaloo and came back momentarily with a lamb vindaloo. They had scooped out the chicken and thrown in some lamb instead. The meat was not infused with the spicy sauce at all. And the idiot waiter failed to bring my pilau rice. Again, another waiter had to step in. It was all terrible - and Karen's Chicken Boona was even worse - thrown together without giving the chicken time to absorb the spicy sauce. At £30 a head with drinks you expect your meal to be edible at the very least. AVOID until they sack the chef and the waiters!

Nepalese & Indian Restaurant
Read the reviewws and thought we would try the restaurant bcause it was on our way home to Frimlet . Wow wasnt busy but very attentive staff and food was wonderful. Top quality curry dishes and sides had teh garlic chilli chicken and my wife had teh prawn dansak the portions are more that expected and it was a shame to leave any feel absolutely full now. Very resonably priced and I would say they are a hidden treasure. We will be back.

Peppermills offers true original cuisine to take home, from a Royal Indian Supper to a Clay Oven marinade. Take your time out for an Authentic Indian street food adventure that hits the spot. Freshly sourced ingredients perfectly crafted for tasty, bite-s
Peppermills used to be Mango Restaurant. The owner has cleverly changed it over to an Indian take away with a fun and funky decor. The food is excellent, great flavours and it always tastes fresh. Each curry or dish as its own individual flavour and taste as compared to some Indian take always where every curry and other dishes looks and tastes the same. Whether your having a quiet evening in or friends round, Peppermills would be my go to for a lovely taste of India.

I've ordered from East Asia many, many times, including a recent visit in person just to see the people behind the food. I can honestly claim that I've never had a bad meal, which is extraordinary considering the likelihood of something going wrong at some point. But not, always great! One thing to note is that delivery can take a while, as they're extremely busy at times. I don't hold this against them, it's more the case that they're so busy that things just take time. It's worth waiting for, though.Best dish? Tandoori Prawn Shashlik, the flavour is incredible. Followed closely by the Elephant Biryani (which I eat dry without the sauce).

Visited the other night, and expected great things. The restaurant is lovely, and the staff and service were brilliant...but thatâs where I stop as the food wasnât up to much. I had a Goan prawn dish, which as watery and pretty bland, except for something that had a sour taste. The manchurian cauliflower was interesting and probably the best thing on the table, but that also had a sour note ( perhaps that was meant to be there). My friend had a chicken tikka, which wasnât smooth and was too hot for her taste. I have eaten in Gurkha restaurants before, and have been to Southern India and enjoyed many a flavoursome meal...so I speak from experience. Needless to say, I wonât be returning. Shame as the place is so nice. Maybe chef was having a bad day? Who knows.Dear smiletravels,Thank you very much for taking the time to give us a review. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us as we always aim to improve on our customer service and quality of food.First of all, thank you for letting us know that the waiting staff and the service didn't let you down but it is disappointing to hear that you did not have a good experience with regards to the taste of the Goan Prawns. When it comes to the taste of our curries, we do pride ourselves with having our Chefs prepare fresh ingredients in our sauces and mixes. The soury taste in the Goan prawns comes from the Organic Kokum, a native fruit from India that is sometimes used in curries. We do take all comments on board and I have specifically discussed the watery consistency of the curry with our Head Chef to make sure the quality and taste can be improved. Please do reach out to us directly at [email protected] if you will be willing to give us more feedback and give us another chance to turn your experience around into a positive one.Sincerely,Prem TamangGurkha Royale Restaurant

The best Indian for miles & miles. I canât think of a better one in the area (and further) that Iâve ever been to - seriously. We booked a table as it is usually very busy. With two friends - a 7pm start, before it gets too busy. Starters and main courses excellent. All enjoyable - everything. It really is good in here. âMabsâ, the proprietor, is always walking around checking all is ok and to have a chat. Great customer service. Cobra beer available! A thoroughly enjoyable meal. We will be back there in a month or two. Recommended.
