We had dinner at the Ristorante Mamma Mia. The owner Saverio and his staff welcomed us warmheartedly. Their service was absolutely professional and we enjoyed all the dishes they brought us from the kitchenSo if you are in Stirling and want to eat real good food, so go to MAMMA MIA, you will not regret it!

The Orangery at Victoria Square is open for dinner, lunch and traditional afternoon teas. Our menu has a strong emphasis on quality and provenance, including seasonal and locally foraged produce. We describe our evening menu as relaxed and refined dining;
This restaurant is tucked inside the wonderful Victoria Square (a boutique hotel) - where we have been staying. Both nights we had dinner here and I simply cannot fault the food, service, wine list, or atmosphere. The menu presents excellent options and I found it difficult to make a choice, and they have a very good wine list. We opted for mains and a dessert (could not fit in three courses). You start with canapés and pre dinner drinks in a lovely lounge and then move into the dining area. The beef I had last night was perfectly seasoned and cooked to absolute perfection - a medium rare (more on the wonderful rare side), with the most fabulous jus. Homemade breads and whipped, flavoured butters round out the mains. Dessert was equally impressive - a delightful panna cotta. Tonight I had a gorgeous guinea fowl, again with an amazing sauce - this time followed by fabulous local cheeses, fruit and pickled walnuts (a very robust sized serving!). This restaurant is in the hands of a very talented chef who obviously cares very deeply about his craft and who treats the produce with respect. Do yourself a favour and book a table.Dear Thesh0pperThank you so much for staying at Victoria Square and also enjoying your dining experiences at The Orangery. It is just so wonderful to hear how much you appreciated the wonderful food that chef produces and also that you found the wine selection to be so good.Wishing you happy travelsKind regardsKari & Phil

Beautiful quite setting, private gardens and large car park. open 7 days lunch and dinner
Thinking of a trip to Vecchia Bologna? I unadvise it in the strongest possible terms. The food is PATHETIC. The staff are rude and IGNORANT. One of the worst experiences of my life. Make no doubt about that. The pasta was soggy, overcooked and cold. And as for the sauce? You could barely even get your fork into the stuff it was so thick and gloopy. AVOIDBORING !!!!NOT YOU AGAIN !!The girl from the " AVOID AVOID AVOID " " comment .I do understand that a run of 20 very positive comments for our restaurant must be very upsetting for you . :-)))But it is o k darling we love you and we wish for you and all the first time bad reviwers ,never to be seen again, all the best. Best regardsClaudio

Modern Italian Restaurant Ideal For Lunch And Business Meetings During The Day And Night, Serving A La Carte Meals With The Emphasis On Daily Specials.
We were visiting nearby Stirling Castle, and decided to have an early dinner on this great restaurant.The water was very friendly, and offered to make a small pizza for our ten year old.We chose from the early bird menu, and were very impressed with the quality of the food.The stuffed mushrooms, and Pene pasta with broccoli and Italian sausage was superb, and my wife enjoyed her bruschetta and carbonara too.Very reasonable and highly recommended

This beautifully appointed restaurant located in a former home was spectacular. The service was outstanding. We were on a short time line and our lunch was prepared and served quickly while still giving us time to enjoy the delicious food. We enjoyed potato leek soup that was rich and perfectly seasoned. The mushroom risotto was wonderful as was the pork schnitzel. As delicious as any I have had in Vienna! If you are in Sterling Scotland donât miss this lovely place where you will be treated like royalty.

Situated in the small village of Doune, Perthshire a short distance away from Dunblane, Stirling and Callander as well as The Trossachs National Park. Doune is famed for its Castle, the setting of the film 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail' as well as the
The first time we visited we were glad to snag the last seat inside. This time (following GOT and Outlander filming at Doune Castle) there were no seats inside but we found that they had moved to seats outside so we snagged one. Even as busy as it was we got quick service (as unlike inside outside was table service). I got a great bowl of soup and bread and my husband got a very tasty wrap of some sort. We would suggest this nice little cafe for a good breakfast or lunch or both!Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are delighted you enjoyed yourself so much the first time that you returned.You are correct in saying that not only do we have seating in the main cafe but also our rear room (which you have to go outside to access) and of course our outside seating for when the weather permits! Itâs only fair to point out though that all areas of the cafe are table service. Thank you again for your great review - all the staff very much appreciate it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner there last night. Shame it was so quiet as it is without doubt amongst the best restaurant food in Stirling. Beautifully presented, first class ingredients and our waiter was lovely. We shared the fish platter to start. I had the aubergine and Parmesan bake and my husband had the pork belly with haggis - all delicious and if Iâm honest extremely cheap for the quality. Weâve paid double for a lot less in our hometown of Aberdeen. I can highly recommend and hopefully will be back many times in the future now our daughter has just joined the University in Stirling. Thank you for a great evening.

Award Winning Neapolitan Pizzeria in the Heart of Stirling. People say: "I have been here many times and I am always welcomed with warm smiles and great hospitality. The pizza is wonderful, fresh and delicious. I could say more but I would never stop writ
We had pizzas there as a family. The pizza was soggy as the tomato sauce was too watery. They were not bad but not amazing. The service felt a bit unfriendly as if they would have preferred us not to be there. The restaurant feels more like a small takeaway with a few tables. No alcohol is served. No ice is available for drinks.

Our second visit to the Gallery.Last time the food was excellent, though the service was informal and unsupervised.This time the food was abysmal, but the servers were clearly being advised and encouraged by supervisors.I guess it is hit and miss, but whatever the quality, it is good value (especially if you have wine), and this time we felt happy to be doing a civic service!It is wonderful for these young people to have the opportunity to serve genuine customers.We will definitely go again. (not a complaint, but the wifi didn't work)Hi Mary Thanks for taking the time to feedback to us. As you will no doubt have been aware we have literally just had a brand new intake of students. Welcoming, friendly and attentive staff in ambient surroundings. On our most recent visit we were visiting with friends for Sunday Lunch (13.00) - disappointingly and strangely two (out of three|) main courses offered as daily specials were no longer available? The food we ordered was however tasty and well presented. Would still recommend this restaurant.
