The girlfriend and I popped in after running around town.The waiter (I think his name was Jonny) was very welcoming and a delightThe food was at a high quality and the prices were so cheap.We went to leave but weâre asked by the waiter to hold on a second. He came out with complimentary cheesecake which was to die forIt goes without saying we will be back soon

We stubbled across JKs while exploring Honiton; we stopped for coffee and looked at dinner menu. Returned that night for dinner and enjoyed a really good meal. The owners are a delight and its so good to meet the chef when you eat out. It is a tiny place but worth a visit.

Eight of us had a great evening here.Food included amongst other dishes scallop starters, smoked eel with scrambled egg, calvesâ liver and bacon and rabbit faggots.All the plates were cleared and everyone enjoyed their meals.Staff were friendly but unobtrusive.We would happily eat here again and highly recommend this place.

We have eaten here twice and enjoyed both visits. Sweet little restaurant decorated cosily in the evening, friendly staff and delicious food. Great gin menu too! Food was top notch, presented beautifully and great value for money. We had our birthday meal here after visiting earlier in the month. You can tell who ever is in the kitchen really cares about the dishes they present. We will be going back!

All the dishes were beautifully prepared, interesting and tasty. Plenty of international variety across the menu from which we particularly enjoyed the Lebanese Kibbeh. Service was so sweet and the ambience cosy and friendly. Will definitely be returning. Just what Seaton needs.

Wellington Squash Club played host to Abergavenny this evening and we held our post match dinner at the Skewerhouse. From first contact with the restaurant to leaving the door they were faultless. Great food, great service, great communication, I highly recommend a visit.

We have driven past this restaurant on a number of occasions and eventually had an opportunity to stop. We were not disappointed. Friendly Italian staff, great pizza and good penne. Very good value . Hope to be able to go again sometime soon.

We booked last minute on the basis of Trip Advisor reviews. We had to take an early booking as they were fully booked but that suited us anyway. The staff were extremely attentive and informative. Nothing was too much trouble, children were welcome too. Even early on Saturday evening there were plenty of tables being used. The food was absolutely delicious and it is all cooked to order. If you want authentic Italian cuisine then try here. Not much to look at from the outside, and inside is more in typical cafe style but when the service and food is 5* that really doesn't matter.

The food was simply perfect, ambience and service excellent. This is one of the best places to eat in Taunton -such care and attention to detail both with the cooking and presentation. Front of house very friendly service which makes for a great atmosphere and we felt so welcome and at home here. Recently went for lunch to this quaint warm cosy hotelThe service and food was excellent could not be faulted. Great variety of food with wonderful flavours would recommend the Scallops and the Duck followed by the delightful chocolate desert simply Scrumptious!Very professional service by the two young ladies serving the day we were there they were a credit to the hotel!Excellent value - 3 wonderful tasty courses for £31.95 all cooked to perfection to restaurant qualityWill definitely return and would recommend a visit, you will not be disappointed!
