On your arrival you'll immediately feel welcome and at home. The Savoy Park has been under the stewardship of the Henderson family for over fifty years. You'll experience genuine hospitality, friendly, professional service and excellent fresh homemade foo

We spend about a week every month in Ayr, and in the past couple of years, usually eat at the Waterfront at least once during those weeks. The food is good, but it seems obvious to us that management has slipped over the past 6 months or so. If you book a table - donât expect to get what you asked for! Service some days is poor - because they are clearly understaffed for the numbers. We always book - but suspect many do not, and the staff are caught unawares. Also - in hot weather, low ceiling means the restaurant is very stuffy inside. Menu usually changes regularly - but has been the same all summer - and frankly - not really what I want, so has become a bit boring.

Definitely some staff training required here! Called in for lunch and the food was good. Both had the lentil soup which had great flavour but was a tiny portion and barely covered the bottom of the plate. For mains had the sole which was slightly dry and the sea bass which was by far the favourite. Service was really poor, waited ages for the soup to arrive and eventually had to chase this up, also had to go looking for a waitress to pay the bill.

We visited with another couple having all happened to be off on a Monday. The venue wasn't overly busy but two courses took over hour and half to serve four of us. When the dishes came they were average, I only had one course so was disappointed by the time my main came having waited so long from orders, to starters and eventually getting main courses. When we paid the bill, the server then struggled to half the bill in two and one of us had to tell her while she trying to half around £60. Disappointed compared to previous visits and other recommendations.

We came across this restaurant on a wet Sunday afternoon. It wasnt overly busy but the staff were very friendly and attentive. A mozzarella, tomato and basil panini with fries and a tuna panini went down well. A bottle of mineral water, a couple of small glasses of wine and two excellent espresso's brough the bill to about £30. The coffee was absolutely superb, its worth a trip just for that.

Our family enjoyed an excellent meal here yesterday. Our food was delicious! It was fresh and very tasty, with the portions were a good size. It was difficult to pick just one thing from the main course menu as it all sounded appealing! Our meals were reasonably priced too. We would definitely come back!

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Burns centre and had a very enjoyable Sunday roast. My wife enjoyed the lamb and I greatly enjoyed the roast lion of pork.Everything was cooked and presented well with plenty of flavour as you would expect. Wine list was reasonable. Service professional and attentive.Tables are in the bar area...would have been great to sit outside of the weather had been more favourable.

Warm, inviting, relaxed and personal dining.
We have stumbled upon this great little restaurant. Iâve had breakfast which was made to order, lunch and now dinner. The service is good. Ambience nice. The food excellent!!! I had asked again for something not on the menu, they actually met my request and delivered my favourite pud, macaroons... delicious, thank you! It was busy with two large groups but this did not impact on the service or quality of our experience. It is rare to feel totally one hundred percent happy after a meal. My standards are reasonably high but I get sick of poor service and mediocre food when I know I can present a meal at a better standard, for a fraction of the cost. This restaurant is certainly achieving everything I require and I can recommend it highly. The monkfish starter was just delicious. My husbands steak was cooked, as he likes to perfection, melting in his mouth.
