Called in for a drink on a sunny afternoon. We sat outside (so that we could have our dog with us) and, although there were a few bees around, they were not that much of a problem. The service was quick and efficient and, although we were only having a drink, the serving staff were solicitous to an extrteme asking us if we were satisfied with our order. The cakes on display looked delicious and the food being served also looked very tasty and well-presented. Will be back to sample the food.

A traditional tea room with a twist. Combined with an antiques & vintage centre all housed in a quirky c1800 Grade II listed building with its own spring-fed well in the middle of the Kent Countryside.
Recommended by 1 of my fellow counsellors who lives nearby. Quirky yet traditional interior with nice furniture and china. Friendly and welcoming staff and delicious food and coffee. Even free parking nearby. Highly recommended - hopefully I'll return with a chum another time!

Went for a walk in the nearby park, and came across this little cafe on the green. The prices are good, staff are very helpful, and friendly - even on a very chilly Sunday in February. Hot chocolate were actually hot - which some places struggle with - Ideal for a coffee stop before or after a walk round the park, or a play with the kids/grandkids.Hello Sarah H, thank you for a great review, our Hot Chocolate is very popular, its real good quality Belgian cocoa, and tastes divine. Especially with the dairy cream topping.Hope to see you again soon.Don.

Traditional, Family run tea room serving home baked and cooked foods. Booking is essential for breakfasts, lunch and afternoon teas. Does not accept bookings for large parties and has limited availability for parties of 6 or more. Does not do vegan option
I took my daughter, along with her friend, sister and grandparents for a cream tea to celebrate my daughters 13th birthday. I must say what a welcoming feel this place has from the moment you walk in. Service is great, the sandwiches were freshly made and we were able to ask for vegetarian options only too. The scones were lovely, still soft and warm from the oven and there was a great choice of freshly baked cakes to choose from. They were very helpful and accommodating to our special dietary requirements and we found this was a particularly lovely treat and all six of us enjoyed it, I will definitely be back and will be bringing more friends and family with me.
