We have recently moved to the area. So we decided to try the local cafes. The Apple Tree Tea Rooms is easily the best. The decor is so interesting. The team are so welcoming. The food is brilliant, especially the flapjack.

We went to Cobblestones on a beautiful afternoon and had lunch in the beautiful, peaceful garden at the back. The lunch was very nice, service was all done with a smile, lovely friendly staff.

My husband and I visited Dunster earlier this year for a day out on our honeymoon and absolutely fell in love with the place. We spent a wonderful few hours exploring the area and decided to stop for something to eat at the Castle Coffee House before we continued our exploration. Well...it was quite simply the cherry on top of what had already been the best day. We ordered two brie, bacon and cranberry baguettes followed by a cream tea each and it was all absolutely delicious. The service was second to none and the little courtyard we sat in to eat was filled with so many flowers and such beautiful cheery decor, it was just stunning. Extremely good value too, we highly recommend. Can't wait to come back!Thank you for writing such a lovely review. Walked into Dunster from Minehead.Found this little gem of a cafe.Had hot drinks and porridge! Was delicious.Service was great and the staff friendly.The toilet was quirky with an Oscar and curtains round the back of the toilet! Silver seat! Would recommend a stop here!

Not pleasant customer service from the lady who took order from us. She had really difficulty to smile, no she didn't smile at all. She was so frustrated that we couldn't tell her straight away what we would like to order. It was the first time here for us so. Latte was so milky so I have to ordered espresso to make better taste. Why I haven't complained as I knew she is going be rude and I don't need that. Really sad.

This is a lovely little cafe, just around the corner from where we live, so we're very lucky. We've had takeaway food from here which we ate in the pub across the road, but today we needed to get out of the house and decided to eat in the cafe. The owners were brilliant as they were in fact closing when we arrived, but they very kindly stayed open to serve us. Excellent scoff.

We visited and were able to get in over a small step. I had a vegetable soup and baguette for £4.50 and it was piping hot and delicious. My boyfriend had a baked potato with beans and sausage and salad. It was beautiful he loved it. He then had his favourite came coffee and walnut and said it was very tasty and he enjoyed it. He also had two cappuccinos just over £17 pounds. The staff were all very friendly and everywhere was clean and tidy to us. A steady stream of locals so always a good sign.Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely review. Our staff always endeavour to make every customers visit with us as enjoyable and tasty as possible. My husband sends a particular thank you for his enjoyable conversation on current affairs. Stopped here for a cream-team and ordered the gluten-free version. The scone was huge and there was plenty of jam and cream - it was good! In fact, it was so good I had to get my wife to check that it was gluten-free - and she could tell that it was - but you know if you've been eating gluten-free for years you forget what the other stuff tastes like but this is definitely cream tea heaven.
