The Applegarth at Parkerâs is popular with locals and visitors alike for its relaxed atmosphere and friendly waitress service. We also have a large outside seating area so that you can while away the summer hours. The Applegarth is open from 9 am Monday t
We visit the Applegarth at Parkerâs weekly for a light lunch and have done for approximately ten years. In all that time we have never found cause to complain about the service or food. We find the staff warm and welcoming and the food wholesome and tasty. There are of course times when things get busy and the service slows, but that, surely, is to be expected. My wife has insisted I add that they produce the nicest cup of tea in the area. What more of an accolade does one require? Ten out of ten for The Applegarth.

A beautiful cliff top seaside Cafe/Restaurant. Which offers a wide range of food from sandwiches rolls wraps and paninis to classic bakes and a selection of home cooked food. Catering for many special dietry needs.
A favourite with dog walkers, this is a proper old cafe as I remember them being as a child 60 years ago. Sandwiches and mint cake with tea and coffee in mugs. Cheap and cheerful and a characterful little place staffed by lovely people who always have a smile for you. Nice place to sit outside when the sun shines. It's the sort of place that should be supported when new, subsidised fancy 'centre' (and expensive cafe) is built right across the green from them! Long may thay prosper!

Very good air con. Much appreciated on hottest day.Coffees and teas were fine.Cake was okSandwiches were poor.Limited selection of unappealing fillings chosen from a tired paper menu.Bread was poor quality and thickly sliced. Ham was paper thin It was served with some very small bits of potato crisps and some salad bits that looked thrown together, and were coarse and inedible. Someone thought if you cut the sandwiches carelessly you can make them look classy by skewering them with a wooden stick. It doesnât work.Staff pleasant.Decor grey and gloomy.

This is a delightful, slightly old-fashioned cafe in a relatively quiet part of Walton on Naze. Spotlessly clean, serving hot and cold drings, sandwiches and rolls plus ice creams and beach fun goods. It's right next to a lovely beach where you can find fossil sharks teeth. The owners and staff could not be more friendly and helpful.

Tea Rooms with seating inside this 18th century navigation tower on the 1st and 2nd Floor and outside with views of the attractive Naze and out to sea. We serve all day - lunches, snacks, cakes made by our local bakery, drinks and icecreams. Closed for Wi
We sat at one of the tables outside and had an excellent cup of coffee....the windbreaks are a great idea, they make for comfortable sitting on a breezy day and give you some privacy from your "neighbours". Service was great by a very pleasant and friendly gentleman. Unfortunately due to immobility could not venture up the spiral staircase. Highly recommend a stop here to anyone visiting the Naze.

Six of us meet every Friday for lunch, we have tried most eating places around and our favourite is The Seaside Cafe, the staff including the governor are really helpful and always find time for a chat, the food is delicious, the menu vast and is great value for money, keep up the great work.
