Drive down the well signed lane in the village to park (ample parking) near the church to find the loveliest tea hut with the most delicious food in a beautiful setting. There were plenty of people when we arrived but it didn't feel crowded. There are seats and tables inside and out. We had a ploughmans lunch with very generous slabs of bread and cheese (brie, cheddar and stilton), scrummy chutney and well dressed salad followed by coffee and cake. The Victoria sponge was light as air and delicious, the huge scone with jam and cream I'm assured was perfect. We didn't have time to do the stroll down to the water, but we promised ourselves to do it next time we visit. We will definitely be back.

Very cosy and authentic cream tea in a lovely setting on the farm. We sat outside in the sunshine overlooking rolling green fields. The scones were warm and lovely and it was served on lovely vintage crockery. Would definitely go back there on my next trip to Cornwall

We had passed the Mill on a trip from our camp site to Mevagissey and thought it looked very pretty and inviting, so decided to drop in for beakfast on our last morning before travelling home. They don't actually do breakfasts, and we were recommended a nearby bakery cafe, by the very friendly lady serving. We explained we only wanted a light bite and she offered to do toast. I had lovely thick toast with home made marmalade and my husband had apple pie and ice cream, then a brownie! They do tea/ coffee and home made cakes and lunches, There are lovely jugs of flowers on the tables, inside and out around the mill pond. We did the walk around the pond and were well entertained by the quirky willow fisherman, willow spider, tea cups and teapots and lampshades in trees etc. Little children would love it (and big ones!). Just a beautiful visit. Thank you so much.

Licenced cafe open 7 days. Monday Through Wednesday evening we are open until 8.30pm for Fish and Chip / Curry takeaway - either eat in or take out, and Thursday, Friday, Saturday we have an evening menu and are open until 9pm
Crab sandwiches in Cornwall are quite challenging. First you fail if there is any shell left in the meat. Secondly the bread and everything else has to be perfect. The crab sandwich I had was perfect. Added to that it was served in a lovely setting with a cool glass of beer.

We came across this quirky little place and decided to stop for morning coffee! Iâve never been anywhere quite like it! There is a lake with a circular walk around incorporating a teacup archway. There are lots of little sitting places and a working waterwheel....an absolutely fabulous little place. If only I lived nearer !
