Friendly family run licensed cafe & bistro providing home made food, cakes and scones. Serving coffee and loose leaf teas. Traditional tiered afternoons teas. Breakfast, lunch and bistro meals.
Very nice and charming bistro! Menu had a great choice. It was a wet and miserable day so we were happy to find a happy face when we arrived. Food was yummy and we could tell it was popular as it was full the whole time we were there. The place is also beautifull decorated! Thank you very much! We love hearing lovely reviews like this and appreciate people noticing our hard work to decorate the cafe and make it a warm friendly place to visit

We stopped off here on our way through to our holiday home and had a great experience. We needed somewhere dog friendly â and somewhere with good coffee after a long drive â plus our girls were very pleased with the portion size of the cheesy nachos. We liked it so much we went back for coffee and ice cream later on during our weeks visit to the lakes.

Just had our Brunch here at daisyâs cafe. The place was packed but we got served quickly and the wait for the food didnt took long We had a large breakfast and tuna n cheese jacket potato. The breakfast was great, cooked well and not too greasy. The jacket potato was cooked perfectly and the salad was well dressed. Overall a good place to stop for tea and coffee or a quick bite.

The little café in the Lakes. A cosy hub in the heart of Ambleside jammed with good food, coffee, music and friendly faces!
Amazing food, friendly and warm atmosphere, reasonably priced and they managed great service on a busy lunch service, all tables had people. Mouth is watering just looking at the photos to add. 4 hungry adults arrived here and went away really content. TA reviews were spot on.Must keep this on the favourites list and return here next visit to the Lakes.

Our family arrived here with hungry bellies. We were welcomed with large smiles and a free glass and cucumber and mint water (delicious). The food arrived quickly and for what we paid was great value for money. The sourdough bread was heavenly and my partner said his black pudding was the best he ever had. We're so glad we came here and the food was spot in. Also, a big thank you to the bearded gentleman who works here. After we left he ran after us to give my husband his Ray Bans, which he had left on the table. We come to Ambleside 3-4 times a year and we will definitely return to Kysty!

We open our doors at 10am and serve homemade food. We stop serving savoury hot food at 3.30pm to allow us time to prep for the following day. We do still serve teas, coffees and cakes until 4.00pm. Please do come and visit and fill your hungry tummies!
Visited on a very wet (Well it is the Lake District) Tuesday last week. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table but the food was delicious and worth the wait. Couldn't manage cake as too full up so bought a piece of chocolate Tiffin to take away.
