Came here for lunch with the family, all had paniniâs though very nice, they were a bit pricey for a panini and salad, £8.50 I thought was a bit much. I was also given a really dirty glass which was a bit gross.. no worries, I just drank out of the coke bottle instead. Service was average also.

Called in for a cup of tea and we ended up having a sausage sandwich and toasted tea cake too! Nice little cafe, friendly staff and what look like amazing cakes - we didnât try them on our visit. Worth a visit.

We just popped in for breakfast and had a large sub bacon roll. NIce bacon and a lovely mug of builders tea which I love! My husband also enjoyed his coffee. Lovely friendly staff. Next time we are in Martock we will return.

Lovely little converted pub run by a Christian charity as a community tea room/cafe. Lovely staff and very clean and tidy. Nothing amazing but the apple cake was very good. Not a huge selection but recommended if in the area. Benches outside if weather is good. Good prices and impressed by the cleanliness. Tables, chairs and decor all in keeping. Good to see little set ups like this.

A long-overdue return visit, so many new dishes to choose from on a superb menu. Our meals were inventive, fresh, and delicious. Our welcome and service were friendly and very good (including great service from someone working their first day there). Cakes also irresistable and delicious. A lovely place to eat.

Every bit as good as others have said. Visited after a friendâs well-founded recommendation and it didnât disappoint. We did, however, think the portion sizes were too large! It was impossible to finish my meal (scampi & chips) despite being initially hungry. I think they could reduce portion size and thereby reduce food waste )and improve their profit margin at the same time) without detrimental effect on their customer offer. My partner enjoyed her lasagne with salad, and we were delighted that they sell Luscombe soft drinks with their excellent menu. Recommended!

This is the place you wish would exist, and it does! From the moment we entered the staff smiled and offered us advice, chat and some bloody delicious cakes, scones and simple lunch eats...the pate was a generous portion and also yummy.

We stopped off for lunch. I had their take on a picnic, basically a home made pork pie, cheese and caremalised onion toastie, salad, chutney, home made slaw and fries. It was all nice and tasty, served on a wooden board. We sat in the railway carriage but could have sat in the marquee or an old double decker bus. Service was good, we arrived just after 2.30 when they stop cooking lunch but still catered from their lunch menu for us. Dogs are allowed in the marquee. Outside there is a shop called The Trading Post, selling all sorts of different foodstuff which you see in farm shops and on line. It also does fill ups if you bring your own bottle or container. Definitely worth another visit when I am in the area.
