We are open each Wednesday to Sunday from 10 until 5'ish. Also Bank Holiday Mondays.
Huge portions, cakes and scones were delicious. We also ordered take out sandwiches for later. The sandwiches were ok but only ok. The view from the tea room is nice. Expensive for sandwiches. Worth a visit for tea and cakes.Sorry to hear you were disappointed, our prices reflect the cost of homemade breads and quality ingredients.

My Wife and I called for lunch. We were on holiday and therefore had not been here before, there was a queue waiting for tables and when we sampled the food we realised why! There was everything from home cooked meals, freshly baked pies and quiches and deliciously sinful cakes and puddings. My Wife had chicken curry which was served with rice and a side salad and was beautifully presented, the portions were generous and it was delicious. The curry appeared to be home made, Iâve certainly never tasted anything like that in a jar.Really impressed, thank you and absolutely recommend.

A pretty little cafe in a lovely little courtyard which will please lovers of great coffee. The scones live up to their reputation and the cherry cola cake is inspired. Great service and generous portions make it well worth the inconvenience of a few wasps who also seem to have read the justifiably excellent reviews received by this thoroughly excellent little cafe. Cannot recommend more highly.

I first went to this place two years ago and was really impressed I left a positive review. During the summer of 2018 I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time in the local area and I often went to this place knowing I would be served good quality food and never once was I disappointed. We returned a few weeks ago and was really impressed in how they have regenerated the local area and the hard work and effort they have done over the past few years has started to pay off. The quality of the food here is second to non in the area, the two owners are genuine, friendly and very proud of there business and take great pride in the food they serve which speaks volumes about them and there business! They have invested a lot of money and time into getting this business started and developing the campsite and this does need to be paid for. Asking for 50p contribution to use the facilities if not eating in the establishment is reasonable considering they have now installed a new sewer system at there expense instead of putting the sewerage into the local waterway as the previous owner did.If you want cheap, microwaveable, fast food maybe this isnât the place for you. If you want good quality, locally sourced food cooked properly then this place will not disappoint. If they are not too busy, spend time talking to the owners and you too will see how friendly and passionate they are which is really refreshing. Never one have I been in here and been greeted by someone who hates there job and doesnât want to be there, very much the opposite which is a rarity these days!

Came here with my father and cousin on Sunday. There was nothing fancy on the menu - just the usual cafe food, but there was a decent choice. All three of us opted for the lasagne, and we very much enjoyed it. It came with chips, which were nice enough. You received a generous plateful. In fact, I left half of my chips as I was just too full. I would definitely recommend the lasagne here.

Sea View Bistro and Coffee Lounge are situated in the village of Borth-y-Gest just outside of Porthmadog. Open from February to January every day with seasonal opening hours. Casual dining in both premises. Our Coffee Lounge is also dog friendly!
Called in for lunch today, a lovely welcome great coffee & stunning location but unfortunately thatâs where the good points end.Seafood chowder looked like baby food, a bowl of slop! Iâve never seen anything like it!seafood platter was tasteless! Smoked mackerel was definitely out of a packet from Aldi! £12.50 is a joke! Not sure what they had done with the tomatoes but they were very odd!I couldnât wait to get out of there and definitely will not go back!Dear houseuphighThank you for spending the time to leave us a review. We are sorry to hear you werenât impressed with your meal choices. Re the seafood platter I can assure you our smoked mackerel is not from aldi. Didnât realise we have tomatoes on it but this must be in our roasted vegetables I can only presume. In regards to the chowder Iâm sorry you have this opinion of it as itâs one of our best selling dishes and weâve never had feedback of it looking like baby food before! Itâs a shame you didnât feel you could have mentioned this to a member of the team who would have been able to change your dishes for you.Regards

Set up by three food mad brothers from the valley Steff, Finn and Jack, who only enjoy one thing more than cooking, and that's eating. You can expect the best of Welsh produce prepared to excellent standards. The food is fresh, exciting, satisfying and af

Informal Italian style café with al fresco terrace serving home made pizzas, pasta and salads with wines by the glass, local bottled beers and Welsh cider.
Came here for some lunch, they had a gluten free menu which is always great for me, so I had pasta bolognese which was lovely, however the pizza that my partner had was a little bit bland though. Quick service though. Lovely staff.

This little coffee shop on Portmadog High Street was a really welcome find: super coffee, beautiful freshly baked scones (still warm!), interesting decor and a personable but not pushy staff team. We really recommend this lovely cafe

Cafe and Art Gallery set in the beautiful Welsh valley of Cwm Croesor, Snowdonia. Serves hot and cold drinks, cakes and lunch including paninis and fresh salads. Open Thursday to Sunday during school holidays (plus Bank holiday Mondays) and Friday - Sunda
Croesor Isnât particularly easy to access unless youâre a hiker so if youâre walking Cnicht, call in, the food is excellent - wide range of options, well presented & good to eat. They (just 3 of them) hosted a half-way check-point for a private walking event involving a lot of people & coped really well, giving pleasant, quick & obliging service. And free tap water, which was very considerate.Thank you all at Oriel Caffi.Hi Janet, Many thanks for your lovely positive review. We really enjoyed catering for everyone taking part in the event and hope to welcome you all back here in the near future. Thank you for all being such considerate and patient customers. Best wishes Bev
