My wife and I called here after a recommendation from the Waterways Museum. It is situated in a quirky and colourful lane that leads to Gloucester's magnificent cathedral.Fairly small and slightly old fashioned but brimming with great eats and drinks. Also the gentleman (Kevin?) serving customers proved to be charming, cheerful and friendly.Great coffee and cakes! Child friendly too. Highly recommended.

Friendly family business providing light french meals and homemade patisserie. We are also open for one evening a month serving a delicious 3 course meal.
Very welcoming. We sat in the courtyard at the back and enjoyed Pascalâs authentic French onion soup, fresh crab tart and charcuterie platter. Very generous servings of high quality food at a very reasonable price. Try to take cash as they were unable to accept cards. We will be returning to try the patisseries.

Rustic modern British Cafe food. Using local fresh ingredients to create home made meals and cakes. Open for coffee, home made cakes, specialty toasties, amazing soups, and light lunches.
I went for lunch with my friend and husband and we all selected the lovely smoked haddock chowder. It was fantastic, excellent amount of fish, potatoes and sweetcorn in a nice rich sauce with a slice of bread. It was very filling but we all managed to have a piece of lovely cake and a drink as well afterwards. We sat outside as we had our dog with us but it was well covered even though it was drizzling.

Our favourite Sunday breakfast place. Ridiculous new rules imposed this Sunday though - they have eggs benedict on the menu, but now âcanât do poached eggs on a Sundayâ. Also this morning now a big sign that informs customers âno breakfast order changesâUsually highly recommend, but now will be going elsewhere.

We are a family-run tearoom focusing on using good quality local produce. We serve breakfasts, home-cooked lunches, light snacks & our highly regarded home-baked cakes and scones, enjoyed on their own warm from the oven, with clotted cream & jam, or as pa
Stopped here for a cream tea on our walk. Wonderfully friendly greeting for us and our dogs from both human and canine owners. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic cream tea and excellent service. Everything including help getting back to our campsite exceeded our expectations. Not to be missed!

The Tea room is a very popular addition to the garden centre, it has been constructed in stylish up-cycled, industrial retro design, using individual pieces to create a unique space for customers too enjoy their refreshments. Luke Newson owns and operates
The setting alone has brought us back time after time for years, but for a while this terraced garden centre in Birdwood seemed to have closed. But re-invented as Leaf, there has been a transformation, and since rediscovering a favourite spot we have been back countless times over the past couple of months. The Japanese Acers that grace the entrance are to found throughout the gorgeous terraces and there is the feel of a well thought out and beautifully designed interior and exterior. (I could sit for hours on the comfy sofa reading the good selection of gardening books...)We lunched yesterday with rain threatening, but we braved the elements secure under the giant parasols. Coffee was excellent in the mugs they introduced recently. (We need mugs - older hands struggle to hold the handles of cups!, They found some for us on an earlier visit - they listen to their customers - so, now there are mugs...)The lunch we had was quickly served, generous in size and quite delicious. The staff are lovely throughout and ready to stop for a chat and a laugh and a great deal of useful information. On leaving you will be struck by the extraordinary views from the car park - and you know you'll be back.

My friend Claire and I stopped at the Italian Kitchen halfway through a bike ride. We had scones and tea, really nice. The staff were lovely including the owner, we will be visiting again when we are out this way.

This is the second time that I have visited Erols Cafe(first being in June last year) and I know the lovely staff there including Dawn the manager, Asim the chef, Lisa the barista and Sophie the waitress and my best friend was there too with her family. The cheeseburger with chips, salad and coleslaw was absolutely delicious as always and the ice cream was yummy too. Well done Dawn, Asim, Lisa, and Sophie for making this a wonderful cafe and well done to my best friend too who made my day special. Will definitely be back soon!

Popped in with hubby for a light lunch (panini with salad) and a coffee each - £15. Loyalty card for hot drinks (buy 9 and get 10th free). Pleasant service, clean environs. Small but well-stocked deli. Bought 2 sausage rolls to take away, hubby loved them. Unisex toilet (key is hung up in a small box near the counter).

Very impressed by the food quality, value and portion size. Cheerful and friendly service and yes they do accept cards now. It would be wise to book ahead as this is popular with local people and we have heard from different people that this is held to be the best restaurant in town. The roast lunch was wonderful, with delicious roast potatoes and an excellent assortment of vegetables. The steak and onion pie had generous filling and crispy golden pastry and was much praised. We also greatly enjoyed the chocolate roulade and cherry pie. We felt very welcomed as a family with young children.
