A beautiful Continental Style Bistro directly on the bank of the Marine Lake with views over the River Dee to Wales, to Hilbre Island and the open sea. We cater for beautiful breakfasts, lunches (including our Chef's home made specials) afternoon teas and
Called in for a coffee with a walking group. Service was immediate despite the cafe being packed with people for lunch time snacks. Nice spot in the outer part of the cafe with astro turf floor. Also a blanket for your knees!! Must recommend as that many people in there can't be wrong!

Wirral's premier loose leaf tea shop. Locally roasted velvet coffee, local beers. Homemade food and cake. Live music events and many more.
Popped in while in area. Relaxing place, large tea menu. Food is generally snacks hot and cold. Ordered two toasted sandwiches both fine. Cappuccino was OK but disappointed with Americano which was weak and tasted like filter coffee. Perhaps they are tea experts but the coffee wasnât that good.

For the fan of UK cafe culture, Flavours has it all. Atmosphere, civility, perfect coffee and good freshly -cooked food sourced locally and served with aplomb. With a soundtrack of 60S Motown and an outside seated area it is a Mod cafe par excellence. Flavours has it all in spades.

Six of us visited on August 24th to grab a few cocktails prior to eating at the restaurant next door. We originally intended to visit either of the other two bars next door, but both of them were rammed and noisy with crowds spilling out into the street. I'm so glad we went to Grand Ave instead. We had a lovely airy table next to the opened bi fold doors. Our wide range of cocktails were very well made and everyone in our party enjoyed them. The service was outstanding, despite me ordering an 'Old-fashioned' (known to take a while to mix!).A great atmosphere and friendly staff, I can definitely recommend this venue. Whilst we didn't eat there, the food served to other patrons looked very tasty, appetising and nicely presented.

A lovely local cafe. Sometimes when itâs busy the service can be slow, but on the plus side it means they are paying attention to the food you get. Nice menu with interesting choices.

Hannah's West Kirby is a licensed cafe and coffee shop in the centre of West Kirby. We have a large selection of freshly cooked food and homemade cakes. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan catered for. Bottled beers and wine to choose from. Inside seating a
Had an impromptu lunch here today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Happy, Friendly waiting staff who seated us on the naughty step! I'm not kidding as that actually was a seating option which comprised of a lovely settee, table and comfy chairs set in an alcove up one step. I asked if they could make the Welsh rarebit into a Buck rarebit and it was no problem at all and delicious! My wife's lamb kebabs were cooked perfectly and very tasty as was my mother in law's homemade soup. Oh and great coffee too! We didn't have room for cake, but the selection looked fab, so maybe next time.

Regularly visit on a Saturday morning while my son is at dance class to have breakfast with husband and daughter. The food is always delicious, lots of nice variety on the menu and freshly made. My husband loves the healthy juices too. The girls who work there are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble! The busy bags for the children are also great and keep little ones occupied! Highly recommend a visit if you haven't already been, you will not be disappointed!

Aubergine is a warm and friendly licensed café situated on a quiet pedestrianised side street just off The Crescent, West Kirby. We offer good food with friendly service and excellent prices.
Hidden away, yet providing good fresh food is this cafe in west Kirby. Had just a dude if chorizo with my drink, which was both tasty and generous and only £2. This said, the prices in general where above average .

We went here for breakfast recently and unfortunately wonât be returning. We asked for the bacon to be crispy but it was hard when it was served (thereâs a difference between crispy and burnt). The biggest issue for me though was that the place looks like it needs a good clean everywhere and some TLC. Itâs trying to bit a vintage-style tea room but sadly we felt it was more of a greasy caff. With some many places to choose from in the local area I feel the owners need to up their game.
