Public cafe, bar and venue serving fresh kitchen prepared food all locally sourced or from our organic farm. Serving all day brunch, healthy Buddha bowls, a daily specials board and 10 different craft beers and cider. Oh yes we have a lovely gin cupboard.
This is somewhere we've heard about and wanted to try for a while...it didn't disappoint! A great quirky place, casual and with friendly staff. We tried the 'Daily Scrambles' and the 'muffin'. The drinks were all good, they went out of their way to get my tea just right, the only thing that we would of liked to have had the option of a 'Full English'.

Without doubt the best cooked breakfast for miles and miles. 12 of us enjoyed breakfast here and every single one of us were full and impressed. Some had full English, some sandwiches, some eggs and everyone agreed this is the best breakfast theyâve had around here. I also tried the cake (well, when they look that good, itâs hard to resist!) and it was delicious. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I honestly cannot rate this place enough and we will be back regularly now that we have found this little gem.Hi,Thank you so much for the great review, its nice to know you all enjoyed your breakfast, made even better for us when a client takes the time to leave such a lovely review.Once again thanks for the great review.Kind Regard'sGraham & Lizzie

A Small Traditional Café Serving All Day Breakfast And Lunch, Eat In Or Take Away. Business Lunches Catered For Outside Catering Available We Accept Card Payments
Myself and 3 others from work get together every other Friday and go for breakfast. We try somewhere different each time. This week it was to the spitfire cafe. Where do I start ?, A warm welcome from the ladies behind the counter, who explained how the ordering system works. So we all ordered (4 breakfasts with hot drinks) . Firstly our drinks arrived, then the toast, followed shortly by the breakfasts. And what a lovely breakfast it was too. Just as hot and even tastier than if I had cooked it at home. The ladies in there do a great job, serving great food,. All I can finish with is, thank you for a lovely hot and tasty breakfast. It kept my hunger at bay for the rest of the day. GOOD JOB LADIES !!!!!We will be back to try the MEGA BREAKFAST.!!!Thank you for lovely comments, we look forward to seeing you soon for the mega breakfast xx

Who would have thought in little Faringdon. The most delicious Indonesian food combined with excellent coffee. A regular business visitor to Faringdon I drive out of my way to come here either for lunch or just the coffee. Delightful ladies that own it too. Thoroughly deserve all the top ratings

As we walked into the kitchen we were greeted, handed a menu and told to take a seat as someone would be over to take our order. After 8mins (only one other customer) I approached the counter and ordered a coffee myself as the server seemed preoccupied on her phone. The coffee was average, there was a dirty fork as well as food debris on the floor and uncleaned tables. A couple had left leaving cups and plates on their table, we were there for a further 15mins to which these had not been cleared away. A disappointing visit to which I will not be returning. We very much appreciate your feedback. We pride ourselves on swift service & high standards especially of cleanliness. We have a no phone policy during shifts. The above sounds truly awful & very out of character. We would really appreciate it if you would be able to e-mail us directly on [email protected] with the date & approximate time of your visit so we can speak with staff member involved & ensure the above never happens again!

This was definitely the hub of the high street on a sunny Sunday morning, busy with locals, cyclists, bikers & dog walkers. We weren't in a hurry so didn't mind the relaxed service especially as it was so charming. It was worth the wait - the best scrambled eggs we've had in a while & heavenly sour dough toast. Fresh orange juice seemed a little pricey but coffees were good. Everything must be specifically cooked to order as we were unable to get a last minute change from bacon to sausage, but it didn't dent our enjoyment of the morning.HiThank you. Glad you noticed and appreciated what we all work hard to achieve. A relaxed, casual, informal atmosphere with good food and coffee to match! Thanks for taking the time to write!Rob
Bloomfields fine food is an independent high street Delicatessen and Coffee Shop. We offer delicious Sandwiches, Baguettes, Wraps, Paninis & Salads to takeaway and eat in, plus Breakfasts & light Lunches to eat in, not forgetting the best Cakes and Coffee
I always enjoy visiting this small cafe. The food is amazing and all freshly made to order. The ladies are always lovely as well!

Buscot is Between Lechlade and Faringdon, located near a popular lock on the Thames.
What a cracking team room near Buscot Weir. Very friendly service and fortunate enough to benefit from freshly baked scones just out of the oven with lashings of jam and clotted cream, absolutely delicious. A lovely sunny day to be able to sit in the garden, ample seating in amongst a delightful cottage garden. What more could you ask for. We'll be back!
