We aim to fulfil each customers individual needs, we offer the highest and freshest quality products from our kitchen to the table in a friendly environment.
Iv had a good few visits but one person in particular really makes us feel uncomfortable. Her attitude is not manager material and should be aware that for regular customers come back that they need to be made to feel welcomed I personally believe that sheâs not a very nice person especially for management. I have 2 daughters one of which is a toddler and kids make a mess, I try and tidy up and I have been tutted at by herself as she picks up a bit of rubbish which I was going to do before I left. Very unprofessional which is a real shame as every other staff are lovely, she just puts a real major dislike to Eatonâs cafe.I believe she goes by the name of Tracey My family and I will not be coming back due to Traceyâs behaviour.Thank you for your feedback. I think it is very interesting that you have since returned to Eatons after posting your review. I would, however, like to apologise to you as you said that I made you feel uncomfortable because of how I reacted to rubbish being dropped You are more than welcome at Eatons and I wish you the very best. Kind regards, Tracy

Retro style American diner, recently revamped with new menu too (freshly made food and brilliant variety). Clean, friendly atmosphere that also hosts many car and motorbike shows. We also do kids parties, general outside catering and hire out the premises
Went today for lunch for the first time. Loud rappy, and reggae type songs playing when we had expected rock and roll music? Totally took away from the atmosphere. My husband asked waitress if she could do anything about the music and she did then put on one country and western song and one fifties rock and roll song. Food was very nice and a reasonable price, but the music spoilt our visit! Most of customers were older ones so this seemed odd. Thus only 3 out of 5 rating from us.

I have lunch here with my wife occasionally. The service is friendly but can be a bit slow at times but that's too be expected when they are busy. The coffee was excellent and the food is good, all freshly prepared. It's a nice place to have on the high Street.

A friend had recommended it us several times but were apprehensive about trying. We tried it today and was not disappointed. I had cauliflower cheese with salad coleslaw and new potato toes excellent and my husband had a club sandwich with trimmings followed by a large slice of bread pudding and we had a large pot of tea. Excellent value for money the food was freshly prepared. Very busy place. Try it you wonât be disappointed

Café serving breakfasts, lunches and homemade cakes.
Saw all the great reviews so thought we would give this a try. The initial rapport friendliness over the phone was so good. The chef even came to speak to me to tell me what was on the vege menu. We already found a local hidden treasure the roundwood garden centre cafe in bocking however we thought for a change we would go to this cafe in earls cone. The food was fine but the service and energy not so great. Value for money also not so great. The cafe sign read closed as we entered. We weren't seated so sat ourself down as they come to take your order which is nice We weren't seated so we sat ourself down and waited quite a long time to have our order taken. After taking our order two waitresses were chatting next to our table for a long time about things they weren't happy with. They sounded very disgruntled. That was a shame but not something we wanted to be privy to. They really should not do that next to the customers. The breakfast looked good. The China pot of tea was broken from inside around the lip when you lifted the lid which I thought was dangerous and they shouldn't keep a pot like that for health and safety issues. The water wasn't topped up so the tea was very strong. The lady kindly brought us more hot water. The breakfast itself was good. Slightly a lot of oil and waffles broke up when eating but apart from that ok. The tomatoes aren't on the menu so I asked for some and ended up with extra so there were four. They actually do come with the vege breakfast and the lady at the counter was happy to learn about that when she asked nicely was everything ok. They allowed substitutions which was nice as when we visited the little book cafe in Halstead they don't allow this and put that in the menu ! ( comparative prices however their beans are home made and they have healthy avacado and spinach and no potato option )The vege breakfast here consisted 2 waffles , two soya sausages , mushrooms , 2 fried tomatoes and small portion beans and 2 pieces of lovely granary toast. Each breakfast was £7.50 so for that it would have been good if tea or coffee was included. This was an extra £3.40 for a pot for two. I wouldn't have minded but when I rang and asked the chef what was included and he omitted the drinks I asked and he said oh yea and tea or coffee. Clearly my misunderstanding. My partner was very full and very much enjoyed it so it's worth a visit if you are hungry. A very busy cafe so they must be getting things right. Staff just seems to need more upliftment. More of what the lady at the til had , she and the chef were extremely friendly over the phone and at the til. Hoping the feedback will be taken in a positive way as we are always very grateful to anyone who works in hospitality. It's an incredibly demanding job but very rewarding when you see a customer happy ( from my own experience of working in the industry ) thank you to all.

Our restaurant is a relaxed and friendly place to meet and eat with family and friends. The outdoor covered terrace with suspended heaters overlook the play area and gardens, making it a beautiful spot to enjoy a meal or a quick cup of coffee all year rou
A lovely place to visit, great shop with the Nursery and Restaurant, excellent toilet facilities. The meals are good and the scones wonderful, however at peak times the queues for food can be very long however they have got a separate counter if you just need a pot of tea and cake. This shortens the waiting time down. Nice place to sit outside or in a conservatory as well as the main restaurant. A good selection of garden furniture and plants etc. in the Nursery.Hello Wendy R,Thank you so much for a lovely review. Our scones are made fresh every morning, and smell amazing when they come out of the oven too! We are glad you like our conservatory as this is a new addition to the restaurant over the last year. It is a very favorable place to sit. We look forward to seeing you again soonKind RegardsKayleighRestaurant Manager

Friendly little cafe serving homemade brunch, lunch and cakes.
What a Gem!Visited on a Saturday, just passed lunchtime. Really excellent food served by the loveliest staff, all packaged in a wonderful old building which doubles as a bookshop. I understand it's licensed also. It's difficult to know which is best - the food, the staff, the books or the building. A real hidden Gem that will definitely visit again.Thank you for taking the time to write such a fantastic review. We are very proud of our team here and all so pleased you enjoyed your visit to our âlittle gemâ! We look forward to seeing you again soon. From all the team @LBC.

A very interesting building with large support beams that gives it a rustic feeling. The menus for breakfast and dinner looked interesting and would be worth a visit at a later date. I imagine it would get very busy later in the year. There is garden seating and a new covering is being built. A minor point is for staff to chat up the customers when they come to pay their bill. It may encourage them to come back.
