I regularly visit taste with my baby daughter and always feel very welcome. Coffee is excellent and a nice range of food for lunch and some goodies for after. I wouldnât meet inside as a group of mums as it is too small for buggies but Iâve always felt very welcome with my baby and buggy either on my own inside or sat outside watching the world go by. The staff have always made a fuss of my baby and one lovely lady even gave me an extra biscuit after seeing that I really needed a coffee after a rough night with a newbrorn!

We visited here on the way to Duxford and had breakfast; garden centres are often good for reasonably priced food and this was no exception. The café was tightly packed with tables so you can see why they are expanding it. (NOTE - closed ufn from 18th August I believe for the building work). Staff were friendly and were quick to take our order. Between us we had the full English choices plus a number of breakfast sandwiches. No "plastic bag sliced bread in sight" all the food was nicely cooked, hot and tasty. Would certainly go back if we were in the area.

Been here on a number of occasions and never experienced any problems. Unfortunately my last visit completely changed my opinion and I will not be returning. A table was booked for 6 of us during the week and due to unforeseen last minute circumstances only 3 of us actually made it. We apologised on arrival and explained that due to the others not being able to make it only the 3 of us would be dining. To say we got a rude response would be an understatement! Never in my life of dining out had I ever been made to feel so uncomfortable. The lady replied in an angry manner 'for gods sake, you really should have called ahead! I have just turned down a table of 2'! And just left us standing in the middle of the restaurant (talk about feeling awkward)!! They then went over to our table (which was 2 tables pushed together) and pulled them apart. Now anyone who knows this restaurant would know that the tables are tiny, enough room for 2 diners to eat comfortably. They squashed the 3 of us around this table in order to call back the person who had previously called to make a booking. When the lady got off the phone she said (again in an angry manner, and so everyone could hear!) 'they don't want it now'.Following this, the gentleman, who I will say was friendly came over to us and asked if he could push our tables back together to give us more room.We felt so uncomfortable and could see the lady huffing and puffing and making remarks as could probably every other diner in there.I am really disappointed that I have to write this review. The food is amazing, drinks are lovely, but this review just goes to show that the service you receive can have a massive impact on how diners rate their experience. I dine out very regularly and never in all my life have I experienced such an awful reception. Sometimes things can't be helped like in this situation where we all couldn't make it, BUT 3 paying customers still turned up and that should be treated with respect.

It does exactly what it says. Every variant of a cafe breakfast served up quickly. Very reasonable prices. It gets busy but the turnover is also quick, worth waiting a few minutes even if it is full.

Iâm no vegetarian by any stretch of the imagination but I have recently enjoyed a breakfast at Vutie Beets in Letchworth. The food has been very enjoyable, the breakfast filling and well presented, the spicy beans in particular are very enjoyable! I have 2 slight issues which prevent me coming back more frequently. Firstly, it is relatively expensive £12.95 for breakfast with coffee and it does take some time to cook (25 to 30 minutes for the breakfast). The second of these is less of an issue and I appreciate the effort and time that goes into cooking nice food. However, the £9.95 for the breakfast and £3.00 for the coffee prevents me coming back more frequently, moving Beets to a very occasional trip from a much loved frequent stop. The food is good, portions good, staff excellent and I appreciate good organic food may cost more, but £3.25 for a latte is indicative of over pricing. Itâs a lovely place, but I feel the cost of a plate is very heavy. Iâll keep going, but itâs a once every 3 months when I wish I could say once every 3 weeks.

Dizi is a friendly café in the heart of Baldock town. We make great sandwiches with fresh doorstep sliced bread to eat in or take away - we have lots of fresh fillings to choose from! Come in for breakfast, lunch or just a coffee or tea...
I really like this place for breakfast or even, just a coffee. Nice, rustic feel with the amount of wooden furniture available and very pleasant food. My only grievance with the venue is, it's not big enough. I'm not surprised that it's quite popular but a little frustrating when you can't have a table to yourself. It's not their fault, there is seating available outside but if you get the chance, Dizi is well worth a visit for a lovely breakfast

Set in the grounds of a delightfully individual garden centre, The Potting Shed cafe serves breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks at very reasonable prices. We are constantly reviewing our menu choices to include new options and specials. We have outdoor se
My first lunch out with my 9 month old granddaughter and the Potting Shed certainly fitted the bill. A lovely friendly welcome and plenty of parking space for the buggy in the annexe. Then we moved into the cafe and the food and service were first class. Every dish/ sandwich is made to order and is very fresh. Nice cuppa as well.Had a nice walk to look at the chickens and rhea family. Our little one loved it. Also some nice plants to buy if you so desire.Iâll certainly be in again. Thank you. Hi, thank you for your review, we look forward to seeing you again soon

Have been here a few times..both to eat in and take away. Love the decor, atmosphere, music theme and gifts for sale. Today we had very good coffees and some very yummy carrot cake. There was a singer in the back room who was excellent. Goes without saying we will be returning.

This garden nursery cafe has some wonderful cakes on offer and the tea is great. Not so good if you want a quiet chat with a friend as it gets a bit full with mums, kids and prams!Hi rabandted.Thankyou for taking the time to review us.We are glad you enjoyed our garden centre & tearoom,we pride ourselves on our homemade cake/food & super growing tea selection of 25 teas.Apologies your only down comments is something that we cannot control, unfortunately we do not have any say to who visits us each day & are very popular with a array of different customers. And with the summer holidays looming children will be a common sight.Thankyou again Tea at tapps team
