Be aware food must be ordered before 9pm staff not very accommodating or flexible. Limited food menu. Locals seemed to get served after 9pm though! If sitting in the area at the back drink up early as they like to close the area before 10.45! Bit difficult in a large group to stand near the bar and block the way. Have you guessed as a visitor it was uncomfortable, best go with a local. Shame.

Small coffee shop with a conservatory attached and a courtyard out back (hence the name!) Filled with herbs and other edible plants! Situated in the pretty town of Westerham, Kent. Local, homemade foods made with love and served with a smile! Oh and outsi
What a little treasure trove. We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast and coffee that was repeatedly topped up. Wonderful gesture. Peaceful too. Weâll be back soon!

Stopped here with my husband and pup as were starving after a beautiful but challenging 12k walk around Westerham (highly recommend the walking routes!) They donât accept dogs (no problem, we sat on one of two tables outside) and ordered a baguette each. For two baguettes (accompanied with a few lettuce leaves and a cherry tomatoes) plus two coffees the bill was just over £20.... fine I thought, having lived in London for many years we are used to inflated prices, but only if the food and service is worth it. This was not. The baguettes were charged at an additional £0.80 from âsandwichâ option. Fine I thought, we were starving so wanted something a little heartier. But the baguettes served were those packaged ones you buy from Tesco and stick in the oven. Not a proper baguette style you expect from a lovely little cafe. Service also very slow - inside there were 4 small tables. Our baguettes were not at all fancy to prepare and served only with 4 leaves and a cherry tomato each but took 30mins to receive food. Very disappointed and wonât be re visiting. Plenty of other cute independent cafes around Westerham and surround where you can take a pup and get much more value for your money. Service was however friendly.

The Dining Room, Terrace and Garden: a modern restaurant at Squerryes Winery serving the very best seafood from our coastal waters married with seasonal ingredients foraged from our 2,500 acre North Downs Estate, overlooking our vines.
I went with my Dad and we had a really lovely long lunch. We weren't hurried, nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing. Our waiter, Stephen, was excellent, he managed the fine line between friendly and professional perfectly. We'd definitely go back, although it is more of a "treat" restaurant eg: Birthdays/celebrations. The setting is absolutely beautiful.

The Stanhope Arms was previously under the ownership and management of Adrian and Sarah from November 2013 to June 2019: please note that The Stanhope Arms has been under new management since July 2019.
Having eaten here regularly in the past, this was my first visit to The Stanhope, with the pub under new management. It is not always easy to follow in the footsteps of others, particularly when the previous management had done such a good job. However, I very much enjoyed my meal here. The waiting staff were very helpful and attentive. The wine I chose was also very good. Certainly, the new management are still finding their feet and do have âa hard act to followâ. The menu had a lot of variety, and was reasonably priced, but maybe could be a bit more adventurous with a couple of foreign dishes added. I did feel that that the ambience in the restaurant for evening meals could also have been improved with the addition of white tablecloths and candles - most certainly would attract the many older customers that I used to see on previous visits.I will definitely return again.

I'm guessing all Clubs within the Altonwood Group do the same. The same layout of room, with stunning views, but somewhat large for only three tables laid for Sunday Lunch. Same young, untrained waitresses standing around chatting. Again, asked for Elderflower Presse to be told they'd just run out of Elderflower - odd coincidence as the same has also been said to be recently at the Surrey National! The guests waiting to go into the function room caused a lot of noise, so couldn't hold a conversation. The Roast Beef was excellent, with a good selection of veggies, although the cheese sauce over the cauliflower needed to be thicker. It would have been good to have been told the pots had been roasted with garlic, which spoilt it for me. Desserts run of the mill. The young man who I'm guessing is the manager was very professional and attentive.

The Grasshopper on the Green was built over 700 years ago, & with its low beams, log fire, bars & upstairs restaurant, secluded garden & parking,it has something for everyone. With the view over the Green it is great for people watching & with the chefs p

The Old Bank restaurant is an elegant but informal fine dining experience. Focusing on local, sustainable and seasonal produce the menus are changed regularly to work with the best produce the season has to offer.
I would give this restaurant 5 stars, top marks in all categories. Menu, service, presentation, all to a high standard. I would recommend this place to those who really appreciate good food in very pleasant surroundings. Tip, book well in advance for dinner!
