Having had cream teas, it was a matter of time before we tried their Sunday lunch. We booked the 2.00pm slot which was perfect for us and with the restaurant not quite full, we had a choice of tables. Despite the limited menu, the home cooking was Devine. Very well presented by the lovely Angie, who despite my best efforts refused to run away with me. Lovely food and lovely service.

I'd heard that it was good, and I wasn't disappointed. The ladies serving were friendly, and very helpful. Always appreciated. The seafood was delicious, and plentiful; but for me, a key test for really good eats is the quality of the "non-core" parts of the meal. They scored full marks. Very tasty salad, and the baguettes were delicious. Be cheery and polite and you'll find that nothing will be too much trouble for these girls! Not strictly wheelchair accessible, it's up steps, but I bet that they'd come out to serve you!

This restaurant has some rooms, and has a listing under B&Bs, but I feel should feature under restaurant section for Hunstanton - as that is its main strength and focus.
We had the good fortune to stay two nights here, eating here on our first night. This restaurant with rooms is charming and the owners are exceptionally welcoming. The food was delicious and well thought out. The scallop raviolo was a particular highlight. The wine list was comprehensive and fairly priced. Breakfast was well prepared and wholesome. Most importantly the food was super, and the whole stay was a treat. A must to return.

We visited the Orange Tree two nights running whilst staying in Thornham, we felt the first night on the Saturday, our meal was delicious, everything weâd hoped for. Smoky bbq ribs and vegetarian Tagine, and Good value for money. Itâs a shame that the Sunday was quite different, maybe itâs what we chose, nothing really wrong with the food but so overpriced for what it was. Prawn Cocktails at £9.75 which werenât anything special and quite watery. My husband chose Scampi from the specials menu at £15 and to be honest weâve had better at a Wetherspoons for £6! I chose the fish pie priced at £17.95 and that was it. No veg, just an overpriced pie, which tasted fine, but again we felt the price was far too much for what it was. We donât mind paying for a good meal but on this occasion felt we had poor value for money, which is a shame. We Understand the area of Thornham is expensive and they can charge these prices, but just on this occasion we werenât satisfied our £80 was money well spent for two courses and two glasses of wine and one gin. Weâd give it another chance though as we really like the Orange Tree, and Thornham.

A very different culinary experience.1st class service Lovely ambiance Whilst I enjoyed the food - it wasnât the best most flavoursome meal .The chefs are obviously very talented - but I personally didnât enjoy each and every mouthful I would recommend Titchwell to any food buff... it might be better for food snobs than mere mortals like me !! Dear CharlieboyThank you for seeing the bigger picture and not just tearing us apart for not enjoying the style of food we do here. You are a rarity.Next time you are in the area and want to come here again but want something simpler, please call with a bit of notice and we could do something for you that is more to your liking.Kind RegardsAndrew

On an appalling Sunday morning, we sought shelter in the deli. After a short wait, as they were so busy, we settled down to an excellent brunch. Very good service, very pleased. As we were leaving I saw a roast going out....I`ll be back.
