While staying at Bunn leisure we had the hood fortune to eat at Grumpys, and what an amazing place this is.We have eaten here 4 times during the last week and the portions are huge. The food is terrific and i highly recommend the lasagne. The service is great and we never had to wait long for our order to be taken or the food to arrive. They are also really friendly which adds to the visit greatly.I have seen some negative reviews on here but i can honestly say i look forward to coming back.

We popped in for lunch as were camping nearby. My husband had the pie and mash and he said it was very tasty but I had butterfly chicken and whilst the portions were large, the chicken was dry and tasteless. The chips and salad were nice, will try one of the other cafes next time.

Nestling on the banks of Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve the 350 year old Crab & Lobster has been renovated creating one of the most stunning hideaways on the South Coast. The restaurant successfully combines excellent service and presentation, stylish déco
Canât thank the staff enough, excellent service, great food. Not to be confused with the Crab & Lobster in Thirsk, North Yorkshire, which I mistakenly booked for my wife and Iâs 2nd anniversary. Thankfully the staff found the funny side, and despite it being a Sunday night on an August bank holiday weekend they were able to accommodate us despite being fully booked!Saving the day is an understatement, and my blushes.Canât recommend highly enough.

Family of four, one with Coeliac, looking for GF breakfast options stumbled on this little gem.Our daughter was over the moon to get GF beans on toast as a standard option on the menu, which is where she is normally excluded, so many thanks for that! Can't recommend this place highly enough, thank you!

Fish and seafood speciality restaurant
Came for an early evening meal with my family. Young lad at outside serving window looked like heâd rather be somewhere else, and his manner and expression showed it. The food was pretty good, and served promptly. We sat outside which we regretted, as it was dirty and not kept very well - rubbish left underneath old chairs and things that were lying around and half used compost bags. An invitation to vermin? It just looked unloved. Such a pity because the location is great. Sad to say we wonât be coming back. Hi. Iâm sorry you found the kitchen boys not very welcoming, it is something that I will work on with them. The compost bags were delivered with a veg planter, this is so we can grow our own herbs, Iâm sorry it offended you. Kind regards Jim

Estabished in 1856 The Crown Inn has been the heart of Selsey village for over 150 years. We take pride in serving great value pub grub in an amazing atmosphere welcome to families, dog's, the occasional drinker and someone looking for live entertainment.
Place fairly empty, service slow and a lot more expensive than our last visit, steak well seasoned, that suited me but not the other person on our table that ordered 'Surf, Turf & Cluck'

Well, the restaurant looks lovely looking through the window & is well furnished good décor & welcoming. We asked what cakes were available & was offered banoffi pie, lemon meringue, roulade to name but a few. These to me are desserts or puddings not cake. Also offered 4 layered chocolate cake & did we want ice cream with it. When it arrived it was hot ! There were no tea spoons with the crockery so had to use a dessert spoon. The pot of tea was only filled 1/4 way up so was extremely strong & stewed. Disappointing & £8.00 wasted.

We have been to this cafe many a time, but on this visit whilst the food was it's usual very nice and the staff are always friendly unfortunately the cups and knives and forks where not very clean as we had to ask for clean ones, it is a shame really as it is so simple to check before giving them to people no matter how busy you are there is no excuse for not washing things properly and puts people off going in there. I know we do not live there but we are down there quite often as we have relative's who live in Selsey so come and vistcthe cafe often..
