Food was excellent value. Two courses for £5.99. I had the 6oz steak and it was cooked to perfection. The meal & dessert was lovely and the staff very friendly. Would definitely visit again. We were strangers to the area but they made us feel very welcome.

My 8 year old grand daughter and I went for lunch and to visit Santa on December 1st with friends. She had a fab time seeing Santa upstairs after her lunch. Then ww went to see the Grinch movie and the Santa and reindeer parade in Treorchy high street. Amazing for the kids.

A breath-taking range of flavours, with multiple choices of presentation. More than enough to get you to go back and sample others. I donât think I would like to take a family of 4 there too often as it can work out quite expensive, even if the products are so scrummy. The retail unit could do with a bit of tweaking to its layout. The only place I could find a price list was prominently displayed at the centre of the serving area. Unfortunately it is exactly at the entrance. This results in a log jam of people entering and looking at the price list making it difficult to progress further in. the menu card do not have prices on them either. Customers simply have no option other to stand, stare at the price list and ponder on what they want. This could so easily be avoided with price lists also displayed at either ends of the serving area. There are a limited amount of places to eat inside the unit. There is one toilet facility which appears to have wheelchair access. Outside there is a small but adequate sitting area with artificial grass, which can get full on hot days.

Normally get fish and chips and it's gorgeous. But last time it wasn't great. Chips were manky and the fish not cooked as nice as normal. The serving was tiny. However I know this is a one off so will return soon

I always visit this gift shop first to find a small suitable jewellery gift for my daughter when she appears in her theatre productions. I found a beautiful poppy bracelet which was more than suitable for her time role as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz... lovely, unusual pieces of dress jewellery... stunning cards.. .. great selection of Yankee candles. A lovely little haven of gifts...

We visited here 2 weeks ago, not booked until last minute but they happily accommodated us. A great big smile to welcome us, the food was excellent - basic Sunday lunch, nothing fancy...just what we wanted. The waiting staff were great too, friendly, polite.... a real must go to pub. Well done all of you!

Who are we? We are HIGH STREET SOCIAL, TREORCHY - the key part of our name is SOCIAL. A place to meet, relax and enjoy great Welsh cuisine, awesome coffee, camaraderie and a new vibe. Underpinning this is what we call in Welsh our "Anian" - there's no dir
One of my favourite places for breakfast. The pancake stack with Welsh bacon is a particular favourite and pretty filling. Coffee is good and seems to be getting even better. Jack is a laugh out front and thereâs always a good welcome and decent service - a rare commodity these days. Clean and tidy. 5 stars I reckon, just wish theyâd open on a Monday and Tuesday too.
