This is a rustic style pub with a lovely sea view from the upstairs restaurant. There is a great selection of food on the menu at reasonable prices. If you have any dietary requirements just ask the waitress and they will bring you the comprehensive list of ingredients for each of the meals available. To add to all of this they have a good selection of Ales and a variety of Gins hic.

Our Two AA Rosette Fine Dining Restaurant is open to residents and non-residents for breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner daily.
We ate in the restaurant all three nights we stayed at the hotel, all the staff were cheerful and made the effort, not something that comes with the territory in the UK normally.Lovely dining room crisp white linen and enough space between tables. The last two nights the food was excellent, fresh ingredients, cooked as asked, vegetarian options for those who need that as well.Carefully selected wine list with a South African slant, the SA wines were very good, but it does need a bit more variety and a few more by the glass, quite a few countries are not represented at all.But the reason I withheld an excellent rating was that the first night dinner was not as good, chefs night off ? it did appear that the dishes had been prepared earlier and the veg was tired as was the sea Bass and the difference to the other two nights was quite marked, nice pre dinner drinks and canapes in the Art Deco bar and mine host with some funny stories all in all very enjoyable and it is not nouvelle cuisine which is a boon.

This is such a shame as we would to love dining at this establishment. But the last few visits have been poor and put us off for the foreseeable future. Service is run by children who have no clue what is happening (not their fault, but more of that the manager steve doesn't train their staff). Food was just slopped on the plate with no attention to detail and was served to us cold. This happend again and Steve did not see the problem. As I said it's a real shame as this once was a nice place, needs new management in asap.

The Vernon Arms is a traditional village pub serving quality home made food, caske ale and craft beer. Open all day every day with a large roaring fire, free wifi and beer garden. Lunch served from 12pm until 2ish and evening meals from 6pm until 9pm
Called in at the Vernon Arms for lunch on a round trip cycle ride from Trunch. Lovely atmosphere and bar area - obviously popular with locals and visitors. We had a couple of pints of local ale, two hot baguettes and a side of chips. As my other half had developed a puncture the owners went out of their way to assist us on quite a busy lunchtime, would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Set overlooking the North Sea on the Norfolk coast, The Ship Inn is one of the oldest pubs in Norfolk dating back 300 years. We have become one of the finest destination pubs on the Norfolk coast, offering a warm welcome with breathtaking sea views. Diner
Had planned to stop for Lunch or dinner at the Ship Inn as had previously looked at website which featured a lot of seafood dishes. We had a drink in the bar and then asked to see the menu but we were disappointed to see just '' the usual'' pub meals, ie lasagne, burgers, fish & chips etc on there so we decided not to eat there. Bar staff very very friendly though and the restaurant did indeed look very nice but we can't comment on the meals

Situated in the village centre, a few minutes walk from the sea front, The Village Cafe can seat twenty people on the ground floor and twelve on the first floor.
We have only ever had breakfast here and can't fault it. Top quality ingredients at a silly price. £4 for everything you could possibly wish for including tea/coffee. It's a no frills sort of place. It is clean, welcoming and offers friendly efficient service. We'll be back

Andy and tina would like to welcome you to fish n fry and bbs American burgers, an established family run business serving the local community for over 43 years. We serve local produce, cooked to order in premium vegetable oil.We are a traditional business
We chose to have fish and chips Bank Holiday Saturday. We went on the basis of reviews and whilst there was a short wait we were not disappointed. The chips were good and the fish was wonderful!!! Absolutely delicious. We ate on the sea front and was wonderful. There is another fish and chip shop in Mundesley , which is closer to the front but the walk to the village centre is well worth it. As Arnie would say "I'll be back".
